We visited today for our tasting appointment at 4PM. The shop is very clean, modern, and welcoming. The front window displays 4 beautifully designed, elaborate cakes. As you enter on your right side there's a gorgeous flower wall and two comfortable chairs with a table to do tasting or sit, relax and have a latte and some cake! One can opt to sit at one of various marble top tables with very comfortable cushioned chairs. As we walked in we were promptly greeted by the owner who quickly had her assistant come and bring us the samples with various spoons for us to share, we were also brought a large still water bottle and 3 glass cups (first bakery that offers glass cups everyone else styrofoam or no water was offered). The assistant went over the flavors with us, they were quite unique! I had never tasted anything like it! We tasted: -Cookies & Cream -Nutella on Chocolate -Nutella on Vanilla -Vanilla Rum -Guava & Cheese -Godiva -Dulce de Leche Marble -Nutella-Dulce de Leche. <--- WOW! Honestly, These combinations were amazing ALL of them! Every bite was delicious ! Cakes had the right consistency, moist enough but not soaking wet! Perfection (which is honestly what I had expected from them)! It was actually very tough to pick one flavor. They included fillings in our package, and we were allowed to choose different flavors for different tiers! Our package included fondant, their fondant options were very beautiful not plain like all other bakers. Without hesitation we knew this was the right baker for us! The entire time we didn't feel pressured or rushed in our tasting, they were available to answer our questions all while at the same time giving us our space to talk and decide amongst us what we liked best! Aside from them being ready for us, the attention, the amazing flavors, the great variety included in the package, I felt the place was beautiful enough to want to take several pictures and finally publish to my family and friends that we said "YASSS to the Cake!" We have chosen our cake and we're just deciding some final details but we will be ordering a cake from Divine Delicacies. I hope this helps others choose the best baker for their cake with unique flavors, modern designs, and great customer service!! I hope other get to have this same wonderful experience! I highly recommend!

I ordered a Hello Kitty cake from Divine Delicacies for my daughter’s birthday on March 14, 2024, and the entire experience was a disaster—from the cake itself to the customer service. I paid $931 for a cake serving 60 people, expecting a high-quality, professional product. I was very clear when placing my order: I wanted a Hello Kitty made of fondant, not a ceramic figurine. I specifically chose Divine Delicacies because they assured me they were the best at replicating designs exactly as shown in pictures. They promised me that the cake would look just like the reference photo I provided. What I received was completely unacceptable: • The cake design was poorly executed—one of Hello Kitty’s eyes was much bigger than the other, making it look completely off. • The colors were wrong and did not match the reference photo. • The fondant was not smooth, and the cake was uneven, showing a complete lack of skill. Whoever made this cake clearly had no experience. • The cake itself was dry and not fresh at all. When I called the store to express my concerns, the customer service was horrible. The employee I spoke with was rude, dismissive, and even yelled at me. She told me I should have called “with due time” so they could have sent someone to paint the cake on-site. This was outrageous—the cake was delivered while my party was already happening. They expected me to stop my daughter’s birthday celebration to have someone repaint the cake in front of my guests? Completely unprofessional. Hoping for a resolution, I emailed the owner explaining the situation. A year has passed, and I have never received a response—no apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. For $931, I expected a flawless cake and professional service, but I got a poorly made cake, terrible customer service, and complete disregard from the owner. I would never order from Divine Delicacies again, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. A birthday cake should be the centerpiece of a celebration, and they failed on every level

My wedding cake was dazzling, spectacular, tall, and tasted delicious! A dream come true! My venue (DoubleTree Biscayne Bay), included a fondant cake from local vendors and when I saw they didn't have Divine Delicacies on their list I persuaded them to permanently include them because Divine Delicacies is truly amazing and every Miami bride deserves the very best (you're welcome future brides). After being approved we went for the tasting and in comparison to all other famous vendors in town that I tried (Todo Dulce, Ana Paz, Sweet Art by Lucila, and Edda Cakes), they stood out as the best in flavor, in presence, design, and professionalism. From the fabulous atmosphere at their shop with their gorgeous flower wall and cleanliness, to the unique cake flavors and fillings offered. Laura, the owner, was always a pleasure to deal with. Our cake arrived on time to the venue as promised. I had paid for a few upgrades such as lifters that make the cake look taller and more elegant (the taller the cake, the happier the couple will be), a brooch for the cake bow, and 2 rows of swarovski crystals around every tier to make it dazzle. I was in awe when I walked into the ballroom and saw our wedding cake! As a surprise Laura had gifted us the exquisite sugar flowers as our cake topper as a wedding gift and an extra row of crystals in addition to having previously gifted us the filling of our choice for the cake. Our cake was 4 tiers tall, alternating scrumptious layers of dulce leche & nutella, all fondant with a beautiful lace top, truly a dream come true! I am forever grateful to Laura & the Divine Delicacies team for making my day so special. No photo will do this cake justice! I can't wait till our 1yr anniversary to have our top tier! Our wedding cake was indeed divine!!!

I hope this review helps someone save their hard earned money.

Money paid to this company: $396 cake ($350 cake charge +$30 filling fee +tax) $150 delivery fee quoted ($161 charged to card) $546.00 Total Paid

See the cake ordered and the cake they delivered and you be the judge if you would want this to happen to you.

Please beware this bakery just told me they have a NO REFUNDS policy, even if they ruin your event with a poor quality cake. They will not rectify their mistake they will not even agree to a partial refund, and they will even try turning the tables on you by telling you if you didn't like the cake you should have returned it.

Here is the review: The bakery did not deliver the same cake I ordered. please see the photos attached with the differences on the cake. My birthday celebration was tarnished by the quality of the cake. All the guests knew what the cake was to look like since I had emailed my family and friends a photo of the cake I ordered. Everyone at the event commented on the fact that the cake lacked quality of design and that it didn't have enough jelly inside. I was naive and told everyone that i was sure DD would rectify their mistake by providing a "partial" refund I was not even seeking a full refund.

When I placed the order I provided Devine Delicacies with a photo of the cake I wanted and asked if they could make it the same as the photo, they said yes and charged me $394.

The cake I ordered is a fault line cake with 16 small, pink, delicate sugar flowers arranged in a wave like pattern inside the fault. The cake was to be vanilla with pineapple jelly filling. The cake I receive was not a fault line cake, there was no indention where there is to be a fault line, the flowers were large and colorless only 10 flowers were added instead of the original 16 as shown on the photo I provided. Also, The jelly inside the cake was barely visible, was a very thin layer of jelly.

I contacted DD to request a partial refund for them to rectify the order and I was told they do not ever give refunds even in cases where they don't deliver what they charged for. They will also not own up to the fact their cake was not what the customer ordered. The manager told me the cake is "clearly identical to what you ordered" and "if you didn't like the cake you should have returned it" mind you i paid $150 for them to deliver this cake which is 66 miles from the venue and it was delivered 30 min before the event. Once i got the cake i was stuck with the poor quality cake i had no choice but to keep it and be dissatisfied. and when i contacted them they refused a partial refund and tried to turn the tables on me by saying i should have returned it. The only thing the company was offering is a $150 credit on a future order. Which Clearly does not rectify their mistake and binds the customer to further dealings with a company that cannot deliver what they...

EDIT The owner of this company wouldn’t refund our money because I left a review of my experience with them and would not delete them. Then she threatened my sister that she will leave a bad review about her on her company page, while she has never received services from her. The owner also threatened to sue her, simply because we will not take back our review stating our experience. Very immature, I’ve never in my life seen unprofessionalism like this.

My parents sat 2 hours designing a cake with this company, we were so excited as they are pretty reputable in Miami. The day before my son’s first birthday they called to confirm delivery and that everything was running according to plan. The very next day no one delivered the $1400 cake, no one was answering calls, emails, or texts. My son had no Cake at his birthday party, we were so disappointed. They finally replied 5 hours later after the party was over, claiming that the cake was delivered, obviously it was not. Then they said they mistakenly delivered it somewhere else, i don’t know how that happens, and they sent us a picture of the cake they had made.... They then said that they would remake this $1400, 100 person cake in 2 hours, that’s fairly impossible I thought. We said we did not want the cake we wanted a refund, but they insisted on making a new cake and also refunding our money. When the cake finally arrived (at 7:30pm) it was the exact same cake they claimed they had delivered to another address. They lied about the false delivery and remaking the cake. The cake by far was definitely not $1400 worth. It was sunken in, cracked, the decor was poorly made, it looked like it was made by an amateur. Not to mention the taste was nowhere near as good as what they tried at the design appointment. The taste was HORRIBLE! So disappointed in this company, they definitely did not live up to the expectations. Horrible service, horrible cake, horrible taste. I definitely do not recommend. Thanks for ruining my son’s first birthday. (And by the way these people have 2 star reviews at other sites, which means they most probably delete the bad ones on here)

  • The owner NEVER refunded us, we had to make a bank dispute and then she kept harassing my father for me to delete my review. NO, I WILL NOT...
