BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP! 0 STARS!!! I was lied to by Rey Diaz and I came to this dealership to co-sign a car under my sister's name. After completing required paperwork I was told my sister had an approval and I could leave with the car that same day contingent upon paying an $800 down payment. My boyfriend helped with the transaction by agreeing with the dealership to make the remaining down payment in installments. After 2 weeks with the car, we were unable to make payments on the installment but kept consistent communication with the dealership about the status of making payments. They were not very flexible on their terms despite telling them we could pay a certain amount on the deposit. I took it upon myself to write them a check from my business account of $1,500 of which they accepted and gave a receipt for payment. A few days later they contacted me to say they don't accept checks and refused to cash it!!! My busy work schedule wouldn't allow me to come in with cash and I had reached my Zelle limit for the month. At this point the car was coming 3 weeks past due for the down payment. They began to hassle me to pay the remaining which I found strange. I decided to call the lender to see what they had to say and to my surprise they stated my sister had in fact NOT been approved for the loan. The same day I find out the car for repossessed. I immediately went to the dealership where they tried to explain to me why they didn't get the approval and were looking for one. I was also told it wouldn't effect having possession of the car. I read online that this is a scheme dealerships use called Spot Delivery. The owner of the dealership promised me if no loan approval came I would be refunded in full for the down payment and offered to come up with a new agreement. He also promised to pay the tow company and let me pick up my stuff by Tuesday. Well a week passed and he never contacted me so I went to the repo company and they said it was never paid, the car is still here, and I have to pay $150 to get my personal property. I was made victim to a spot delivery scam. Had I agreed to pay full $5,000 down payment they were asking for I wouldn't be refunded!! Everything they said were policies they could never prove to me in writing. They also lied on my sister's application which I believe caused her to get unfavorable terms. They kept changing their policies to fit the complaint that I would come to them with. Rey Diaz the owner lied to my face and I have text messages to prove his lies!! I gave away $800 for nothing and was not treated fairly. I fell victim to bad business practices and theft. They refused to refund me after promising they would do so. They don't have their policies in writing so they can't prove to me this is what the consequences are for not paying a down payment installment....
