This is the first time i walked into a panera bread and it felt like i had walked into a dirty cuban cafe... There was no customer service. 3 employees at the cash registers standing around talking and They still Pushed me to a kiosk when i had a question, which did not answer my question. Kiosk credit card swipe was apparently broken and they knew, but never told anyone or placed signage. Responded with a "oh yea that ones not working..." after watching me for 10 minutes navigate my order and struggle to make a payment with their broken machine. Went back to the cashiers (still 3 of them standing around conversing in spanish about their weekends) and they responded to me with a "finger" waive indicating for me to wait until they finished their conversation. What? Really? 2 minutes later when they finally finished laughing about their conversation, they asked me what was wrong, i told them, ...and their response was "wait right here and we will go get someone who can cash you out..." Unreal. On top of everything, they made my expresso shot first, but placed it in the window on the plate waiting for them to prepare two bagels. 10 min later i have a cold shot of expresso. The last draw here to the cuban cafe analogy: These employees were yelling a whole Q an A session from the back to the front of the store. All while the most pleasant music is playing trying hard to compete with the yelling of the employees. Ivette, Mike...i heard so many employees yelling... Im just trying to have a nice breakfast experience with my family... What the heck happened to...
Read moreTERRIBLE Experience.!!! Ordered a catering order for delivery, 20+ people $300+ Order, for an executive luncheon. I made the order several days in advance and stressed the importance of scheduling and adhering to delivery times. Confirmations received day of order placement. Day of delivery, the order does not show up on time. I call to check the order status and they tell me its late. It was already 30 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered, well no kidding it's already late?!? On top of that, the catering coordinator tells me they made a small mistake with the order. The small mistake.....1/2 of the food that was ordered did not arrive, nor did they offer to send it later or remove it from the bill. The other 1/2 of the food was entirely wrong - completely different than what we actually ordered. So the guy tells me he compensated for the mistake by adding "a little more" of the food we did not order to begin with "for free". This was a total joke. The most unprofessional and pathetic attempt at service I have ever seen. My company WILL NEVER order from these guys again. All you do is make soups, sandwiches and salads. How do you not show up with 2/3rds of those things when ordered in advance??? I am disputing the bill - obviously and may update this post based on that result. Order elsewhere, these guys are unprofessional, unreliable and unable to execute against a simple catering. Totally disappointed and unbelievably upset about how much of a failure this was. Total Miss...
Read moreHorrendous. I love Panera, but THIS one on Flagler and 100th is horrible! Every delivery driver shows up at LEAST 15-20 minutes after delivery estimate and then has the audacity to ask for a tip. They toasted my sandwich ONCE of the SIX times I've ordered from them; only put the avocado that COMES IN THE SANDWICH (it's not a customization) THREE of the SIX times; forgot my croutons for my tomato soup TWICE; Finally, I learned my lesson so deciding to start picking it up myself so i kindly ask the lady to please double check that there are croutons in the bag, she looks and doesn't see any so she asks them for a side of croutons (the only competent employee I've encountered there thus far), and finally the reason the lady didn't see croutons is because some genius put them in the soup! People... it's a pick-up order, don't put bread in liquid things... i was eating tomato bread pudding by the time you handed it to me (18 minutes later than i was told it would be ready for "rapid pick-up"). I already came back to work and told ALL my coworkers we are NOT ordering from these people anymore. I'm not the one to complain about things. Ever. But half a dozen occurrences in under 2 weeks is an impressive level of incompetence. Your job is to put a sandwich together, and pour a ladle full of soup into a paper cup. My non-toasted avocado-less sandwich also had more apple cider barbecue sauce on the wrapper than in the sandwich. Appalled. Simply APPALLED by they're repeat performances as...
