My husband and I decided to try this place for my 30th birthday lunch yesterday (4/24). We walk in and smell the amazing aroma of smoked meats. My mouth instantly started to water. I got a chopped brisket sandwich and my husband went for the pulled pork. We took our food to go and ate it elsewhere. That brisket was so dry and so awful it was literally crunchy. The meat tasted like it had just been thrown on the smoker with no rub. It literally hurt my throat swallowing the meat but I was hungry and payed 42 dollars for our food. I got some jerky too (3 packs at 7 bucks a piece). My husband's pork was just as dry and awful. You had to have massive amounts of sauce just to eat the sandwich. Needless to say, we will not be going back. Their meats were really highly priced as well. I mean 19 dollars for 2 sandwiches and some tasteless mac and cheese? I have been using this shop for all of my meat for over a year an half. I bulk buy the meat I need for my meals and have found that I have a hard time with even restaurants as I am so used to the extremely high quality of the food I prepare at the house.

My daughter requests the ribeyes as rewards for good grades. I cant say that I'm upset with her choice. Excellent customer service along with a depth of knowledge (excellent advice on my first brisket) I could not be more satisfied.

Today my family ordered 2 turkeys from the shop. Last year the price for a fried Turkey was $67. When we ordered the Turkey over the phone the lady quoted a price of $67 we put a deposit down and when we arrived the price was $139 for a fried Turkey. Not only was the quote given was far left but the price of the Turkey cost almost tripled. Instead of them honoring the price that was quoted they refused and by it being the day before Thanksgiving we were hustled knowing it's to late to go anywhere else.
