ALDI — Local services in Dover

They are OK for some things. You have to know your prices. Even their prices are increasing every time I go in. There aren't many deals even at Aldi anymore.Years ago, it was better, but even then, the prices weren't consistent throughout their locations.

Price compare first. Make a list of what you need and which place has the best price. Then make a route for shopping when you're ready to go out to a food shop. It won't always be Aldi. Even the dollar store beats Aldi and other food stores on some items.

Some items have increased to 2 to 5 times the price since the pandemic. These things aren't even specialty items. Food stores are just another way to price gougue customers. The pandemic is over. Get your prices back to one's pre-pandemic, and you'll get more repeat customers.

Their ads that say you'd save lots of money are false at this point. You will save on some things here, or there is more like it. Their store brands aren't always great either, but I tried them to see.

The concept of the store is good. Paying to use the carts is annoying. Aldi is too lazy to pay someone to get them. Oh, well. I even know of someone who applied multiple times, but they don't call or follow up. They just stockpile...

Nice option instead of the 4 major competitors. Today a new item Eggrolls in the fresh case tempting and another customer agrees. Waiting for the nice variety of franks from previous years. Check out the all dressed chips, store brand. Nice to see Wonder bread products. Milk seemed less than seen elsewhere. Brought my own bags to use and filled each. No store politics here-having worked for 4 competitors and a snack cookie company, this represents a nice basic shopping experience-plenty of happy customers. Asked for pizza sauce to go with the dough balls, they have had Mama Cosi. Also needed diet ice tea 64 z. The peppers in a bag did not survive the trip well at the store. So I tried Tendercrop farm stand in Dover. Also missing here is a cole slaw dressing. I usually leave the quarter in the shopping cart used to get use of. The shaved steak in a tray pak a solid value $6.49/ 14 z. In and out Frozen eggplant w/out sauce and the summer salads fade in Fall. Beefsteak tomatoes from Mexico but none from Backyard Farms Maine. My first experience with this store since it's new to Dover New Hampshire area the prices are really low and very affordable some things though I noticed for my first time there I prefer to go get at like Walmart because their prices for detergent and other items I purchase are a few dollars cheaper other than that I just found this place to be my new shopping destination I'll give you an example of produce like blueberries was a dollar something same thing with the strawberries I purchased Bagels I got each a dollar something they have cheese there imitation of course for a buck milk is the same price as it would be in Walmart or anywhere else and it's like Sam's Club or any type of wholesale people that you have to bring your own bags you can purchase your own and you have to put a quarter in the carriage in order to unlock it I think that's like a safety measure so nobody steals the carriages so overall price range is anywhere under 6 dollars food and kids clothing ECT I can't remember they even except food...
