I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent dining experience this restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations, and I feel compelled to share my concerns and dissatisfaction.

The quality of the food I received was far from satisfactory. The excessive use of oil in the dishes made them overly greasy and unappetizing. Additionally, the portion sizes were disappointingly small, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and hungry. One particularly disappointing incident occurred with the rice noodles in the pho dish, which was not properly cooked. This oversight greatly impacted the overall taste and made the dish unenjoyable.

Moreover, the attitude displayed by the owner, Jeanie, was incredibly disheartening. When I kindly expressed my concerns and dissatisfaction, Jeanie showed a complete disregard for her customers. She was rude and dismissive, with an apparent lack of care or interest in resolving the issue. It is disheartening to see such an unprofessional and disrespectful attitude towards patrons who simply wanted to have a pleasant dining experience.

As a customer, I believe constructive feedback is essential for the improvement of any establishment. It is regrettable that instead of valuing customer feedback and working towards rectifying any shortcomings, Jeanie's response was to brush off complaints and adopt an unfriendly demeanor.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Saigon Tokyo to others. The combination of subpar food quality, small portions, and poor customer service is not conducive to a positive dining experience. I sincerely hope that you consider addressing these issues and improving the overall quality of your establishment, as it has the potential to become a great dining destination with the right effort...

I agree with other reviewers that the portion sizes are huge and the staff is friendly, but the food isn’t very good at all. We ordered a bun/vermicelli bowl that was supposed to have grilled chicken. It wasn’t grilled, it was fried and all clumped together in a cornstarch mess. It was inedible.

We also ordered Kung Pao chicken. It was almost inedible, too. The chicken had been marinated in something that had nearly caused it to disintegrate. It was mushy and overly sweet. And even though there were a couple of chili peppers in the dish, and it was listed on the menu as being hot, there was no heat at all. The next day I rinsed off all of the sauce and refried it in peanut oil. It took nearly 15 minutes on high heat to get a sear on the chicken bits. Again, what was in that marinade? Added some sesame oil, soy sauce and chili sauce and turned it into fried rice. It was 10x better.

Finally we ordered some broccoli in a brown sauce. The broccoli was way overcooked and mushy, too. No flavor to speak of and we had to pitch it.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but if you want good quality Chinese/Vietnamese look elsewhere. There’s no love in the food. If you want generous portions at a fair price and don’t care too much about quality or flavor this...

Ordered at 6:30 quoted 1hr for delivery- no problem. Food showed up at 7:47 with the wrong food. We couldn’t just keep it because the vegetarian’s meal turned out to be a totally different item loaded chicken. Pupu was mediocre, chicken teriyaki had more tendons than any I’ve had before and the boneless ribs are probably the worst I’ve had anywhere. Thin and dry with no sauce, it feels like you’re eating jerky. Called immediately about the mistake and they said they’d send the correct meal right out. Called back at 8:30 to check where the food was, as the hour now turned into 2. They weren’t sure what we were talking about or where the food was. Asked for refund and they said no they’ll just send it out now… 2 hours after ordering the meals we wanted. Right as she hung up she said the driver is actually almost there. Ive been here a few times in the past year. If you get take out and get it yourself it’s still “edible” but nothing like the old Asia, or any other Chinese restaurants I’ve tried. If your expectations aren’t high takeout is probably fine. If you want a good meal delivered go...

My regret is not paying attention to the most recent reviews listed. Poor service online and in person. Maybe it's different if you're a regular. My wife, however, at one time, had good food here years ago and was in the mood to try again, so we tried this out. I'll make this short. Take out only. The dining area is now a storage area and prep area. Upon picking my order up, I looked around and immediately regretted ordering food. Food left a lot to be desired. Rice had little to no taste to it, which was surprising. Pork was your typical overcooked, tough, red dyed meat with little flavor. Egg roll was undercooked and doughy on the inside with little flavor. I found it to be a waste of money. Hopefully, some self reflection takes place, and they can return to their glory days. Reading previous recent reviews, though, makes me think that they won't take accountability or responsibility for what they serve as food and service.

I was in the area for work and needed a good Chinese place to satisfy my cravings. I’m always a fan of general chicken, so naturally I got the general Tso chicken lunch special. The delivery was on time and came with utensils which was great! The amount of food in the box was definitely enough for two meals for me, and for maybe $11 was definitely worth it. Everything tasted great, although I maybe wouldn’t have been able to tell you that it was General Tso’s chicken on a blind taste test. Don’t get me wrong, the chicken was fantastic and the prices were large, the sauce just didn’t seem like general Tso’s more of a teriyaki. My friend’s egg roll wasn’t really crispy which maybe could’ve been solved if it was delivered in a separate package other than the whole lunch box. Overall a great spot and I would order from here again immediately if I had to.

Best place in town for Chinese food and Sushi. 100% takeout since the pandemic hit, but doesn’t seem to be slowing them down. Parking lot is small, but cars constantly moving due to the 100% focus on takeout. Food is typically ready when they say it will be, so don't show up earlier and you won't have to wait. Staff inside moves fast, so pick process is quick. I generally only review beer places, but this place is worth mentioning. My craft been stuff is on IG @beerman.nh
