Food Lion — Local services in Dover

I no longer shop here as much but I happened to come in tonight just to buy a few items because my other store that I frequent at was closed. After I finished gathering my items I went to the check out lane and whomever the woman that rang up my items name was had a disgusting/distasteful attitude. This is the second time I came in this store and a similar situation had happened with an older lady that had worked here but this time the younger lady said absolutely nothing to me as well. Granted I was on the phone but I greeted her while making eye contact. The woman also spoke to customers that were rung up before me and was very energetic but when it came to me she was very rude for not saying a word. I will definitely make sure I keep my local family/friends away from shopping at an area like this and my items will be returned to this store tomorrow. I want absolutely nothing to do...

I had a very bad experience with a rude employee who seemed not interested in helping. I went in around 11 AM @4/9/2017 to get cereal for my kids but since i am new to the area could not find it so i went and asked the closest employee. From looking at his name tag his name is Richard and he looked kind of dirty. Turns out i was on the aisle i needed to be and it was almost in front of me. Richard proceeded to be-little me and make me feel that i was dumb. He looked at me like i was dumb and just said, "Really?", as he pointed it was in front me. Richard laughed at me and rolled his eyes and just walked away. I was truly in awe and asked my self how does this man have a job? If you are reading this i would suggest going to another market if you can for your shopping business. The management must not care who works for them as they have this...

I stopped by this location a couple days ago to grab a few items. The store was clean and well stocked. When I was ready to check out, I was so surprised at the level of customer service. I was greeted promptly and the cashier, I believe her name was Ms Jessica unloaded my shopping cart for me. Another associate, Ms Sue placed my bagged groceries back into my cart and asked if I needed assistance out to my vehicle. I couldn't believe it! Food Lion has really stepped up their customer service. I was also greeted as I came into the store and as I was leaving. Also, while I was shopping, an associate stopped to ask me if I needed help locating an item.
