As a former employee, I can say this restaurant is amazing!

I personally love their broken rice dishes, it is very much a comfort dish at Vietnamese heart .

If you like robust sweet yet savory hot foods, I recommend the Beef stew!

The bathrooms are well kept and managed. The restaurant appeals to traditional Vietnamese culture. The bubble tea drinks are very good too! They may not be your average boba tea shop with fancy options, but they do serve some good traditional drinks! 10/10 recommend the Taro or Avocado smoothies.

Their pho is phenomenal locally. They actually take the time to make their broths and they have rich flavor. Many people locally do not appreciate the light richness that Vietnamese food provides. I am glad that Pho Saigon is here to spread the culture and good taste!

Larry, the owner, is a honest hardworking man who appreciates sharing the culture of Vietnamese food to Dover, Delaware ! There have been misconstrued statements in the past, but he does very much care for his employees. He is professional and a good boss. He actually is very considerate of other people’s needs and is very patient. Also, people will literally believe anything off of Facebook. Many of the employees who are making ill allegations have taken advantage of this family run business . Such as marking out unpaid food, using his manager pin for freebies. He actually offered his employees a good pay per hour not most servers receive. Is it so bad he had to split credit tips to pay his FAMILY ?? which are majority of his employees? Again, misconstrued and very much so bitter.

You may see his kids and family around the restaurant, but hey! That’s the beauty of local businesses, they are family-oriented. The food is so good and there is a good selection to try.

Good! Family owned. Really liked that they use glass bowls and plates, unlike other Vietnamese pho places. Water is also good, not gross. The pho portion can be larger, the bun is generously sized. Price wise, thought the banh-mi was a bit over priced at $10. The food is good! I did not feel sick or have any stomach aches after eating here. Bathroom can be cleaner.

UPDATE 2025 I originally gave this establishment a 4 star review. Unfortunately, every time we have been back the place gets dirtier and dirtier. The owner/supervisor lady just sits at the bar counter watching TV, while their bathroom is an abysmal mess, without even a working soap dispenser. My question is, if the bathroom is this filthy, (what we can see) , how clean is the kitchen which customers don't see? Also, the customer service has gone way down, the server we had would not even make eye contact, just would slam the items down in front of us. No amount of us saying thank you, got a friendly response. It seems this restaraunt would rather have take out customers who don't bother them, and can't see the grime, dirt, and bad service. Fantastic experience! The pho is so delicious, it’s hard to find good pho locally so this is heaven sent. The interior is fresh and comfortable, many TVs for viewing, I noticed cameras for safety, there’s a bar built in (possibly future liquor license??) The staff is pleasant and the owner came out to say hi to me.

I ordered steak pho, iced coffee and fried spring rolls. All three were great! They take orders via menu numbers I’m assuming it’s an easier method for them. If you enjoy Vietnamese coffee, tip from me is read ENTIRE drink menu. I inadvertently told her Vietnamese iced coffee as it was first one I saw, but if you like it with condensed milk like me- it’s a totally diff menu item (they have like 4 different selections) so just be careful!!

I’ve visited twice last week, both dine in and Carryout. Only con was my checkout time during dine in- took 10 mins for server to give me my bill and didn’t fill my water.
