Office Depot — Local services in Downers Grove

First time printing here. I had placed a same day pick up at 9am. Called the facility at 12. I asked how long it usually takes for documents to be printed if the order was made online. The gentlemen says that it should say in my order. Maybe overlooked? I advised I placed an order at 9am. The gentleman said “oh it shouldn’t take that long”. Called back at 5 and told them I lived an hour away and wanted some help to see if I should wait longer in the area or I should leave… the guy that answered this time basically said that they were super busy. I decided to leave and and make my hour drive the next day to pick it up. Once I did pick it up there was a young lady in the front. I had just ordered 1 ivory 25% cotton letter and 2 standard size letters. Not much really. I looked mainly for my 1, 25% cotton letter. It was made incorrectly but the young lady helped me in minutes. Once I got home(one hour away) I noticed that I was missing one of my two standard letters. I called this place and they have me on hold for 13 min now. I am writing this as they have me on hold. I decided to print here since, I thought, it was convenient for me at the moment. They went above and beyond to help me out of a terrible jam when Staples failed to perform a crucial printing and collating job for my sister's funeral mass booklet, less than 24 hours before the service.

Thanks to their swift and excellent service, we were able to honor my sister with a beautifully prepared booklet for her funeral mass. I cannot express enough how much their help meant to me and my family during such a difficult time.

Once again, the offer for $5 off of $30 worth of Post-it notes was not honored by the store manager who first said it was for online only until I showed him his own ad from the ad rack in the store. I also tried to use the online version which was for 30% off the highest priced item and that offer would not work either. There are always too many stipulations with any offer from Office Depot or Office Max. Multiple warranty issues on office furniture and chairs as well. Many item offers online cannot be delivered to store and make you pay shipping which negates the value of the offer.
