Great American Bagel Inc — Restaurant in Westmont

I usually love the service I get here and the freshness of the food is what keeps me coming back; however, I went to this location for the first time since the pandemic hit and they are NOT requiring their customers to wear a mask. The staff are wearing masks, but while I and another very senior man were there another 2 men came in and neither were wearing masks. I asked the staff why they didn't ask them to put on masks and the woman said she didn't "notice" it. Sigh....Then, while getting into my car I spoke with the owner of this location. His response was laughable and sad. Until they decide that MY life is just as important and every other customer's life, I won't be back. Oh, by the way----IT'S THE LAW, Mr. Owner. I enjoyed myself experiencing this place. It’s not next door breakfast, but I do not mind the drive for the quality of this fast food.

The blueberry crunch bagel and veggie cream cheese usually is my go to. This year I tried the Supreme Sunrise on my favorite bagel. My gosh, it is delish! It’s a huge bagel so cut in half is a perfect bite for me, but I have eaten the entire combo in one sitting as well lol.

The ice coffee is really good. I like my coffee dark and bold. Just enough ice is a great mix.

I love love love love this place. As a child my dad(r.i.p) took me to former location in Berwyn il on cermak and home. No longer there if anyone remembers. Well I was blessed to move to downers grove il where I found this location on Odgen in Westmont il where the staff are amazing and the restaurant is well maintained. Great customer service with awesome food. I always get my usual ..ham egg and American cheese on a toasted plain bagel. I love it so much paired with either chicken with wild rice or cream of broccoli.YYYYYUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMM.
