Excellent burgers. But it does get expensive. Three meals came to $30, but I was food-coma full afterwards. That said--in defiance of my expectations--they have even better burgers than red robin or other "expensive burger joints" up there with the best burgers I've ever eaten. They offer full customization of burgers with even a half dozen sauces and 5 cheese options. Also bottomless Oberweis milk/chocolate milk! A healthy alternative to soda. Optional pretzel buns. Good fries. I'd describe them as crispy homestyle, low oil.
Google aparently says I should describe the atmosphere so... They have a a look and feel of a cool burger place that gets their business from reputation if you know what I am talking about. I would describe it as the kind of place you could take a casual date where she wouldn't judge you but is casually enough to avoid that stifling feel you can get from a too nice of a place. That said I took my wife and junior high sisters.
That said I usually don't care about atmosphere. The $30 for 3 meals price means I wouldn't eat there all the time but the flavor an fullness means I will definitely be...
Read moreIf you are going to eat at this place make sure it's in person and not delivery. The food was delicious but it seems there's little to No communication between the two halves of the store. When I went there in person I order a burger and shake on the "That burger joint side" and I had to ask multiple times to get my shake because they haven't even made it yet on the other side of the restaurant. Another time I decided to order online, the same order from when I was in person and the delivery guy only gave me my shake and said that "They said that they only gave them this" It's extremely odd to combine two restaurants, but not actually change your system of operations in the building to compensate the TWO restaurants inside there. I hope you can change this quickly because it alienate a lot of customers who wanted to experience both side of...
Read moreI got the spicy chicken sand-which that comes with coleslaw, mayo, and dill pickle. The chicken itself was good in my opinion. Nice spice to it, fried nicely.
It would have been nice to have a little more coleslaw on the sand-which, as the chicken and mayonnaise already over power it.
The fries were a little over cooked for me but still have a nice slight crisp to them and are really just your typical bar and grill fries.
I love me a lemonade with a chicken sandwhich so, I also gave their lemonade a try. Lemonade was fine, nice sourness to it and all.
In my opinion as well I also think this place would thrive better in its own environment and NOT attached to an ice creamery. It was not all that pleasant not being able to hear myself give my order to the employee over a bunch of kids running and screaming around...
