DONT COME HERE
What I asked for and what I got were two different things. I did ask for a different shape than the reference photo, but that's about it. I went in at 2pm, and I left two and a half hours later and not even with something I was proud of. I'll admit it seemed like the stylist was trying, but I would rather them have told me that they couldn't do it.
Not only did she use a SHARPIE MARKER against my wishes (I told them when they put the clear coat on that it would bleed out purple and be a mess, and that's exactly what happened) but when she had to re-do them more than 3 times they tried to pin it on me. Saying that "well if you bought gel that wouldn't happen", but other places do it fine 🤔, but other places also dont use sharpies on NAILS. Even then, at one point I TOOK THE SHARPIE AND DID IT MYSELF. It's bad enough you're using a tool against my wishes but if you're not able to do the design JUST TELL ME. When I asked the main lady (the woman with blonde hair and colored eyes) if I could even get a discount since, this isn't what I wanted, I did some of the work myself because she couldn't, and the fact that the quality just isn't that great compared to other places I've gone, she told me that all she could give me was the first timers discount (which she was already giving me before this mess, 10% off). I pressed her because this wasn't what I wanted or what I was promised, and she gave me an attitude. "She was working on you for like two hours" (um WE worked on my nails for two hours because the lady who said she could do it, lied) I told her even the lady who did the nails said "mal" to her friend and was saying she didnt even like them, she kept saying "feo, feo" ('mal' means bad, 'feo' means ugly), and the blonde lady snapped, saying "well then she can take them off if you'd like that". I told her I was already late (for work) and I would still pay, I just wanted a discount and that this isn't what I wanted, and they should've just told me they couldn't do it and I would've gone somewhere else. She said she could offer me 15% instead of 10. I was irritated and agreed. Even then, she charged me $42, which was what the price was gonna be anyway. I was late and tired of arguing so I just paid and left. So today I paid $42 for nails that are "feo", "mal", and bumpy, and it's not even all nail polish. She only took the sharpie off of ONE nail and proceeded with the rest. I came here because I saw good reviews, but clearly they weren't all...
Read moreFirst time here. I really wanted to like it because it's close to my home. I went in on a Monday, around 3pm. Shop was quiet and empty. There were 2 ladies getting their nails done and 1 tech sitting at the pedi chairs. She asked if I had an appointment. I did not, but it was empty so I didn't think it was an issue... She proceeded to guide me to the chair and turned on the water. Tells me to put my feet in the spa tub after a minute but the water is freezing! Had I not asked for her to warm it up, she would have left it like that. The water got luke warm at best. I remember a pedicure was a comfy relaxing experience...Ok, next, she clipped my nails. I like my nails short. Never been a fan of long toe nails. I asked if she could cut them shorter and she said they're already down to the skin...ok, ill have to clip them at home. Next, she barely cut any cutticle from my nails. That's one of the reasons I go get my feet done, so I can relax my feet in warm water and they can clean that off...ok. Next, I told her the inner side of my right toe hurt. She took out a little more skin and that was it. Ok, next, she never brought me the color booklets. That's odd... Good thing I knew what color I wanted and they had it, so the 1 star being given is for that. There was a light massage, she colored the toes but no clear coat was added which is something new to me too. The whole thing was done in about 20 minutes. After she was done, she disappeared. I was on my phone for a bit but 15 minutes went by and she didn't come. I had to start taking off the napkin toe separater and starting getting up from the chair so they could see I was done. All in all, it was not a great pedicure. I would not recommend the shop, nor will I be going back. The search for the perfect nail shop continues. Nail tech...
Read moreI was a one time customer at this nail salon in March 2024 with my best friend Stacy when the shop first opened under Annie's ownership. My friend started coming here and told me to try it out after she fell in love with the services she received. I instantly loved the energy Annie had given us. She was so full of love and light and made me feel welcomed and understood as we spoke of our lives and shared our stories. I decided to come back to this beautiful business 1 year later after raising my daughter at home and decided to get my nails done. Stacy always loves her nails and toes and has become long time friends with Annie and suggests the builder gel which strengthens your nails and keeps them looking long and beautiful. They look acrylic but they are your actual nail. This facility has a gorgeous, bright atmosphere and complimentary coffee upon entering. The environment is clean, amazing and top quality products, the business is family and everyone is sweet, kind, helpful and accommodating. The nail shop has products to purchase in front such as luxurious lashes, high end lotion, and other beauty/health items for purchase. I will be coming here from now on! I am in love with my nails and toes. Thank you Mouy for my relaxing pedicure and callus removal and Annie for my gel fill on my acrylic nails. Beautiful color, AMAZING service. Incredible nails salon and worth the price. Not too expensive and top quality. I love Polished Nail Bar and I highly recommend here as it will be my new,...
