Homesense — Local services in Dr. Phillips

Homesense is like HomeGoods…but even better! If you’re looking for more of the home decor elements of the HomeGoods store (e.g. furniture, lighting, bathroom sets, paintings, rugs etc.) you will be hard-pressed to find anything better in the entire Orlando area. We have loved going to the Lake Mary Homesense location ever since we first found out about it, and this location is just as good - it’s nice that’s it much closer for us! Prices are unbeatable, the store is laid out very well, employees are friendly, and the Homesense return policy is nice and easy just like HomeGoods, Marshalls, and other stores in their family. Pro tip: if you’ve just moved or are about to make some big furniture purchases, you should open up their credit card because you can use it in any of their stores and get a discount on all of your purchases. Considering how much we shop at their family of stores, it’s a no-brainer. It’s so nice they have a HomeGoods right next door too…if you can’t find something here, walk next door and they’ll probably have it! They carry a lot of the same products so if you’re missing one piece of a bathroom set, the other store might have it. Horrible service. The 1st time I was at this store, I purchased and paid for outdoor furniture with a hold of 24 hours. The next day, I rented a van to pick it up, and the furniture disappeared even though it had been paid for. Someone stole it from inside the store, and they had no clue how someone could have walked out with my paid furniture Today, another bad experience. I was in line for about 15 minutes, by the time I went to pay for it, I realized my wallet was left in my car. I was able to get it within less than 1minute ( 46 seconds to be precise), but I was told I would have to go back to the line again, even though the cashier had my purchase by her counter. Welcome to the neighborhood HomeSense! I love to change my home interior design frequently and this store coupled with the next door Home Goods is a heaven to me. Home Sense seems to be more organized than Home Goods. Product lines are very similar but different enough to warrant a visit.

Just purchased a ceiling light yesterday at deeply discounted price and I’m loving it. It took a while to actually purchasing this because there weren’t any staff who can dismantle the lighting fixture from the ceiling. It happens because this store has been open for only about a month.
