Emerald Glenn is a vast park with fun playgrounds, a water play area and sports fields for a truly memorable day with your family. This 48+ acre park offers baseball fields, soccer fields, softballs fields, bocce ball, tennis courts, basketball courts, skate park, cemented walking paths, picnic/bbq areas and a rose garden plus other neat art and fountains found around the grounds and The WAVE indoor swimming pool with amazing outside waterpark. So much!

There are two playgrounds. The first playground is pretty open and spaced out! The big draw is the rocky area with two slides. Kids can climb up a variety of ways from the raw rock side to evenly carved out steps. The rock face has some neat “fossils” for the little archaeologist! Speaking of archeologist the sand box has a dinosaur skeleton so don’t forget your sand toys! In addition to the rock, there are two structures at this bigger playground with fun elements like bridges, spiral slides, tunnel slides, monkey bars, zip line, monkey rings, math activities, a musical activity, a variety of letters and a fun lookout bubble. In the center of the play area there’s an awesome water pad that has lots of activity on the hot days! On top of it all there's a swing set with both bucket and standard swings.

The second play structure is way smaller with a slide, steps, ladder, swings, climbing net/wall, and swing set. Behind this smaller playground is a large hill you can walk up and get a pretty good look at all this park has to offer.

Great playground in a large park. We've visited the playground many times. The splash pad is fun during the hotter summer days but can have some of the water spouts or drains plugged because the park has a sand pit right next to the splash pad. There are 3 different play structures: a toddler one, a child's one, and a natural looking rock feature with a couple fun slides. One of the biggest challenges with Dublin's newer parks is that the trees are so juvenile that there's limited shade. This playground has a few shade trees but it is pretty limited. The natural rocky play structure is very charming but there's an issue with line-of-sight when you're watching kids from below... they can be hard to see with an open grassy area behind the top of the rocky structure. This playground is located next to a rose garden, a water feature, and there are other activities located in the greater park area... basketball courts, skatepark, baseball fields, and the wave pool water Park. This is also the location of Dublin's Thursday evening market that has great vendor participation and we've seen great local music play as well....

If you need to go out and enjoy nature at it's best Emerald Glen Park is the perfect choice. Let me start with the fact that this is so well maintained park that it puts a lot others in shame. In addition the park is divided into smaller subparks and each one can be used for different activities like pillared, yoga, kite flying, soccer, rugby etc. I mean it's a complete package where folks can take a stroll, be active, enjoy with friends, there are even grill sections at your service plus small children parks with play structures, soft landing grounds for toddlers. Also the garden beside the middle pathway is beautiful and inspires to be along the nature. Also there are seating arrangements throughout the park which also helps people from different age groups. So all in all this is a park for people from various age groups and encourages one to be active, relax and share inspiring ideas with friends and families. My sincere thanks to the creator and Dublin City for maintaining it so nicely and brining in more and more ideas. Did I forget to say there is a net practice going on during weekend mornings for cricket? So...
