To Whom It May Concern,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning incident that recently transpired at your Aldi store located at Pleasant Hill, Lawrenceville, GA, which has prompted serious safety concerns for all customers.
On Monday October 16th, My wife had the unfortunate experience of visiting your establishment after a long day at work, with the intention of purchasing groceries for our household. During her visit, she was subjected to a disconcerting ordeal that, regrettably, unfolded within the confines of your store.
My wife informed me, in a state of panic, that she had been persistently followed by an individual of questionable intent throughout the duration of her shopping. Initially, she dismissed this unsettling behavior as mere coincidence. However, as the situation escalated, the individual in question approached her, ostensibly offering assistance due to her apparent predicament, her hands being occupied with shopping items.
The distressing part of the encounter was not limited to the persistent following and unwarranted assistance, but rather, it culminated in an overt request for money by the individual. My wife was left feeling vulnerable and fearful, with no viable recourse to ensure her safety or reprieve from this alarming situation.
In light of these disturbing events, I endeavored to contact your store promptly in order to alert the store management or associates to this potential security threat and to ensure the well-being of all patrons. Unfortunately, I encountered a challenge, as it appears that Aldi stores do not maintain a dedicated store-specific contact number that would facilitate direct communication with an associate or store manager.
I implore you to consider the gravity of this matter. The safety and security of your customers should be of paramount concern. It is essential that immediate and comprehensive action be taken to investigate the incident, assess any security vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate safeguards to prevent the recurrence of such alarming situations within your store premises.
I strongly urge you to prioritize the well-being of your patrons by instituting measures that bolster security, enhance customer safety, and ensure that all individuals who visit Aldi, Pleasant Hill, can do so without fear or apprehension.
Given the urgency and significance of this matter, I kindly request that you acknowledge this letter and apprise me of the actions taken to address the concerns outlined herein. I eagerly await your response, which I trust will reflect your commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all customers.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter, and I look forward to your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will be brief. If you read the other reviews about Aldi they will corroborate the following; Aldi originated in Germany in the early twentieth century. They later became two companies, Aldi Nord and Aldi Sud. They came to the U.S. in 1945 after WWII to capture a piece of the American market. Most people have no idea that Aldi Nord is actually Trader Joeās with a much better reputation. If you shop at an Aldiās (Sud) you will notice the rapid pace of the lines, thatās because the employees are on production. This is all done in an effort to keep the prices low and the reason why they have a culture of short staffing. If the employees seem stressed out, anxious or just outright rude this could be the cause of their behavior. You will read reviews of regular product shortages and spoiled produce. Finally you will read reviews of racism/discrimination, this I have experienced personally on more than one occasion in the less than two years that I have shopped at Aldi (Sud). I have been a regular Aldi (Nord) aka Trader Joesā for more than thirty years and have never experienced any poor customer service or low quality products. If you enjoy shopping at a store with this type of culture just to save a few dollars at least you will know before entering. āForewarned...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is one of the worst Aldi's around. The store itself isn't terribly well cared for, the merchandise always seems to be disheveled for some reason and the staff is more often than not just plain rude. Went to this store tonight and while standing in line, the cashier was instructing everyone to move to another register, making it seem like he was the most overworked employee ever. Typically you'd expect a cashier to say something like "register one will be opening up so if you'd like to move over there we'll be right with you". Instead, the instruction was simply "move to one!". No one, of course, wanted to do this because there was no cashier at the new register and everyone knew we'd be standing there for a while until one of the cashiers would finally come over. This isn't the first time we've witness this exact same thing, so I thought I'd post a review about it.
**To the manager of this establishment, here's a tip, if you want customers to move to another register, first make sure there's a cashier there ready to help out. Lastly, please train your staff to know how to speak with customers, it's really...
