Last week, I visited this restaurant with my friends and ordered the Stir-fried Sundae. When our order arrived, it was served in a hot pot rather than a stir-fry pan. The menu description clearly distinguishes between Sundae Stew on the left and Stir-fried Sundae on the right. (as the attached picture) When we pointed out to the waitress that the dish didn’t resemble the Stir-fried Sundae, she assured us that they now use this type of pot for the Stir-fried Sundae. However, as she began cooking, the dish turned into a stew, as seen in the attached picture. We pointed out once again that we had ordered Stir-fried Sundae, but the waitress responded that we would need to cook it for a long time for the excess soup to evaporate. This was unusual to us, as we’ve never encountered a stir-fried dish with so much soup. It didn’t make sense that we were expected to cook it down when the dish was supposed to be stir-fried from the start. After waiting for the soup to reduce, the ingredients became overcooked and soggy, and the Sundae itself fell apart. We called the manager, whose response was very disappointing. He did not offer an apology and was instead rude, asking, “What do you want me to do?” in an inappropriate tone. He even mentioned that we shouldn’t expect Stir-fried Sundae like what is served in Sundae Town in Korea, treating us as though we were being unreasonable. We lost interest in continuing our meal, not just because of the poorly prepared dish, but more so due to the manager’s unprofessional and rude behavior. If the restaurant cannot provide food that matches the menu description, it should be removed from the menu. Moreover, the staff should learn how to appropriately handle customer concerns and offer a sincere apology when something goes wrong with the meal.

Plenty of parking by the restaurant since it’s in the same plaza as Hmart. The store is busy and kinda hot…they do have a lot of fans all over the store but just doesn’t work the same as an AC. If you like blood sausage this is the place to be! They also have Korean bbq. Alcohol is served here. Limited side dishes, which I was surprised at first. But I will say the entrees are very flavorful and seasoned that you don’t need many side dishes. There kimchi was really good! Spicy beef soup: loved the flavorful, not too spicy. But I didn’t like the texture of the beef, very stringy but all stuck together. Got stuck on my teeth often. Soondae soup: a bit less seasoned than the other soup. Felt like there was less meat but overall taste was still really good! Would be curious to try more dishes from here!

If you don’t care about bad service attitude, sure go head. 순대국 is better after bad review with Korean social circle. (Prior review was too expensive for the soup and like 2 to 3 piece of 순대). I went with my friend yesterday food was better but serving is horrible. Typical Korean style. Large group of people cooking meat and drinks then like us ordering simple meals.(trust me, it's not cheap, 3 soups and 1 large 순대, that's over $100. Why typical Korean?? Alcohol is much profitable, etc. I took my parents today because food is good. We went and no one, trust me, no one even other to say hi or provide us the table even though there is plenty. One lady looked at us and didn't even bother to say anything. Don't give us hiring excuse. There weren't even that many people. How do I know? We been there for 10min. Looking at other tables. It is ridiculous.we don't mind waiting even said hold on please. Please ignoring customers! I can't and will not bring any one to this restaurant. Trust me, I will write this in Korean and post it on Korean social...

I could be here yesterday. Soondae is one of my favorite and so glad to have a restaurant who serves the authentic soondae, in town. There are other restaurants who is serving soondae, but no restaurants has the quality one. Honestly, I can't understand why the rating is so low. I would pay a little higher price willingly, if I can have better soondae like here. Here was one of my favorite restaurants to enjoy good quality soondae as I posted several months ago. But I'm not going here anymore. Disappointed a lot from the rude attitude of the owner. If he continues to do like this, will lose loyal customers and had already lost one. Recently, I'm going here again after hearing that the new management took it over. (The "Response from the owner" attached below should be from the new management.) Pretty better than the previous and the quality of the food is great without change. I cannot say the service is excellent, but...
