We (2 adults 2 kids- 2 and 10) visited FunBox at sugarloaf mills during its opening weekend, Saturday sept 2. Tickets were 9 bucks per person which we found reasonable.
We arrived about 10 minutes after our 3pm session time. We already had socks so we were able to walk in quickly. I will say the check in process was a bit scattered. Although we saw a few people in Funbox gear it was not clear where customers should go to have their tickets scanned as not all the employees had scanners.
There was a shoe tent with many free pockets/pouches for customers to leave their shoes in, which we loved! I’d suggest leaving your favorite Jordan’s at home as there was no type of security/monitoring.
my major complaint is there was no type of shade or tent over the bounce house. I understand it may be hard to cover the entire bounce house but my 2.5 yo found many of the obstacles too hot. The workers even closed some of the slides for fear of the material being too hot for the kids. Which I appreciated but also found frustrating.
I would suggest just a bit more organization at the entrance and figuring out a way to keep the obstacles from getting so hot.
Overall the kids had an ok time, but we’re ready to go before our...
Read moreI recently went and I have to say this establishment is very organized! Make sure you arrive on time for your group because you do have to leave when your group time is up, in between times they will clean up then allow the next group in. This is perfect for younger kids, they also have a toddler area called candy shop off to the side, they also offer snow ones and cold water, snow cones a $6 each and water is $3 each. If your worried about leaving your items there they do have a separate area to leave shoes in but if you parked close I honestly recommend leaving your shoes in the car and wearing grip socks if there is no line. I honestly have no complaints other than they cover the slides with some type of thin shading because it burns you when sliding down but other than that I like the concept, the art and most importantly the staff they are very organized and care about safety and people flow. God...
Read moreIt was very well run, and tons of fun! It was very hot the day we went and the snow cones were a much enjoyed treat!! They had several things for all ages to do and some activities for non-jumpers too! The staff were all great and made sure everyone stayed safe and had fun. There were tons of things to jump and climb on. All the equipment was in good condition. If you go on a hot day, wear long pants- the plastic slides get really hot and burn! (I was very glad we opted for long leggings the day we went) Wear or buy socks with the grip/tread on the bottom, it’s slippery! They had some places set up in the shade with tables and chairs, a place for shoes. I...
