Incredible jewler with outstanding, personable, knowledgeable service!!! In an age of mass franchises it’s nice to know that there’s still a family owned/run business that takes a personal interest in their customer service/satisfaction. My experience here started with the selection of a diamond and setting for an engagement ring for my fiancée/wife. Since then I have returned for multiple purchases to include pearl earrings, pearl necklace, custom designed/artistic jewelry with unique Caribbean gem stones, watch service and repair, and wedding bands! Never disappointed!!! When the wedding band became too small, they replaced it! When we decided to upgrade the diamond in my wife’s engagement ring, they gave us the full price that we paid for the original diamond to credit toward the upgrade! And they went out of their way to have the new diamond placed in the original setting on a short deadline to accommodate our special request! They provided timely communications and updates on the status of work orders. I have been dealing with Dickinson’s Jewelry store since I moved to Calvert County in the early 1980’s and HAVE NOT had any disappointments in dealing with them or any employee!!! Claude and Kathy are sooo nice and easy to deal with when I make a purchase or need to have a repair made. If I make a purchase they are always ready to tell me more about it. They let me know what the stone is, the size, color, etc. and even more info then I need to know. Also, I love the time they take with you. I usually deal with Stephanie and Sam whose are always there for me when I visit. They are always available to please me, whether it’s just to look, buy or have something fixed, they all know their stuff about every piece of jewelry that I’m interested in. I don’t shop at any other jewelry store just because Claude, Stephanie, and Sam are the best at what they do and has always been fair and have always given me the best prices on all things!! Can you say "excellent and outstanding customer service?" You'll find Stephanie Johnson's name in the dictionary under "perfect"!! The entire staff at Dickinson Jewelers (Dunkirk) was so friendly and helpful. An abundance of hugs and stories were exchanged. You'd think I was their only customer. I had my mother's wedding rings reset into a more modern setting. It was an exhausting, but rewarding, ordeal to do justice to my mom's rings, but with Stephanie's help, we came up with an outstandingly gorgeous end product. I couldn't be more proud of my new ring. It's light and airy looking and full of shine and sparkle. Simply said, it's exquisite and I'm totally, 100% pleased. Stephanie made sure, every step of the way, that I had all the options available.
