Walmart — Local services in Dunkirk

I typically can't find what I'm looking for at this walmart. It's too small. I showed up to pick up a prescription today (3 times!) The first time, my husband and I parked in the curbside pickup space and called. There are different phone numbers on the different signs. One phone number never answered, except an automated message that said this number is restricted. The other number is just the number for the store and you have to navigate the menu to reach the pharmacy. After messing around a bit, we discovered that the pharmacy didn't open until 9 and we were 10 minutes early. We went to grab breakfast and came back to try again. Again, the one number was no help. The other number allowed us to navigate to the pharmacy, where someone answered and said sorry we're not actually opening until 10 now. WTH? Anyway, went home and waited until 11, just to be sure. I arrived, parked in the curbside space again, and called again. The one number still was useless. Called the other number and navigated to the pharmacy, where someone answered and said there's one caller ahead of you please hold. She put me on hold and came back 10 minutes later, at which point I asked about curbside pickup and she said they're short staffed and not doing curbside right now. I went inside and the found 7 people in line ahead of me. When I finally got to the front of the line, she told me to wait while she called up someone else from the back of the line. Again, WTH? This was not a quick thing either. They were there for several minutes. The price wasn't right. There were some other questions. This one took longer than most of the ones that had been in line ahead of me. When it was finally my turn, she asked how I was doing and then immediately turned away from me because someone behind her started asking for something. Wow, way to make me feel like nothing more than a number! I started my morning thinking way to go walmart! Curbside prescriptions, what a great idea to keep all of the sick people OUT of the store so your staff and other customers can stay healthy! Now I'm thinking wow, way to go walmart. You tried to do a good thing but since you didn't follow through and actually do it, your good idea is even more frustrating than letting everyone believe you were too stupid to...

Can't believe I actually have to write this but here we are, I have been going to this Walmart for years now when I come down here to visit my friend's or cousin (which is at least one every two weeks)I stop by and never once had any issues until today. I come in, went to the bathroom ( which The stall I went in had toilet paper all over the seat) then head over to the toy aisle (I know I'm being followed at this point, your associate wasn't good at it) I leave the toy aisle and she acts like she's looking at the Xbox and PlayStation cards on the end cap (nice try, it's a good thing you're not loss prevention, your terrible at it) I go down the aisle with candles, she goes down the same aisle, I go down the food, she goes down the food, like I said it was quite obvious I was being followed, it's not like she was trying to hide it or any good at it. This particular Walmart lost my business for today and a customer in general because like I said I have never once had an issue at this store until today, I never gave any indication upon entering the store that would raise red flags that I was up to no good, this individual just saw me and for some reason decided to follow me like I was a common thief when I was just a customer looking to make a purchase. You need to train your associates better to look for actual thieves and not a regular customer looking around the store on their way home. I will give my business to the Prince Frederick Walmart when I'm down this way...

This Dunkirk is small, but friendly boys except for the evening shift manager. She is obviously not a happy person and he’s very ignorant. I was returning something one time in this girl needed her help. I’m the manager literally sat her office for over 10 minutes. I had to call the store and ask her to come out and before she came out, I asked the girl she had to deal with this all the time. Because it wasn’t fair to her. And she looked so sad and said yes. No wonder they can’t keep any employees. I would never wanna work with this miserable lady. And I’ve only ever seen her work second shift so that’s why I’m going during the day. They’re wonderful! But there’s always one bad egg. I just don’t understand why people are so miserable and obviously hate their job. Or other people for no reason I’m not quite sure which one it is but she’s very ignorant to other employees and customers as well. I’ve witnessed it all. I’m sure I’m not the only one.
