I really hate to leave a bad review . I’ve ordered from here a handful of occasions. On the last couple times, I’ve ordered multiple sushi entries and they simply like to put them all in one container even raw and cooked together. The very last time I ordered 3 orders of yummy rolls and they put them all in one containers and I was so frustrated on how me and my friends can eat together in one container. The first time I complained about the raw and cooked sushi together in one containers, their response is it’s normal for a sushi place to do so. Today when I complain about my 3 separate orders of yummy rolls being in one container they said I did not specify. I’m just saying I would assume 3 orders being in 3 different containers. I also ordered Fujiyama love boat medium and even though that’s a larger order , I can understand that that’s in one container because it’s one entry. Needless to say, I don’t think they cared about my thoughts. Not to give them bad reputation but when they replaced my one order the first time I complained they definitely messed with my food and I don’t want to say how cause I don’t want to give them a bad reputation but after spending $100 tonight and my food was not even handed to me but pointed me to go get it myself. I definitely will not be recommending this place to none of my friends...
Read moreThis was my first time coming to this Japanese cuisine. I checked the reviews and they were promising. That is definitely not the case here. The atmosphere is very lacking but seating is cozy. I did get my food pretty quick which was concerning for the pork katsu I ordered. I took 3 bites and sent it back before I thought about taking pictures. The meat was gray. The waitress did take the item off my check but told me the meat was delivered yesterday. I don’t think so.. the flavor and moisture was not present at all. My friend had a spicy tuna roll and I laughed soon as I saw it! They put panko bread crumbs into the spicy tuna mix to stretch it out. Tbh very smart move! You can’t taste the panko but you can definitely see it. (Picture attached)
I won’t be coming back to this establishment but you get what you pay for. Cheap prices if you’re looking for a quick fix or...
Read moreFunny how something so little can change your entire perception of a business. We were excited for the new Fujiyama restaurant in Dunkirk, and the sushi and hibachi lunch specials were both very good. Thought we had found a new go to lunch option. Then came the bill that included $12 for fountain drinks for two people.
Apparently they are the one place on Earth that doesn't offer free refills on fountain drinks, and charged us an extra two bucks per refill. Thought maybe it was a new waitress thing since they've only been open a week, but got confirmation that it was in fact their policy. No mention of refills not being free on the menu anywhere...and the waitress didn't inform us either while continuing to top off our drinks.
It does sound petty, but my opinion of the place did a complete 180 at that point and I can't recommend them. It's the...
