Burger King — Restaurant in Maryland

This is hands down the absolute worst Burger King you will ever go to. This has been a running problem for a long time at this location. For a short while after they went for about 3 weeks during the hottest month without any AC at all they were at least minimally acceptable. While I love Burger King this place is fraught with problems. Yesterday I was so busy I had to eat out on the run. I stopped here and entered a very long line, so I thought "if they're busy then they must be on a roll now. What was I wrong the average time for each of the vehicles in front of me to be actually sitting at the window itself waiting to receive their orders, was between 4 and 6 minutes. That's right I was in line for over 30 minutes. The young lady who took my order which was a № 2, that's a double Whopper combo with fries and a drink for $10.42 I told her a №2 with a Coke and swap the fries for onion rings please. She asked me, "what size drink? “ I told her "I don't know whatever size comes with the combo for $10.42". 18 and 1/2 minutes later when I finally got to the window I payed my 11 plus dollars then sat and waited about 3 minutes and was handed my bag with the correct sandwich but fries. I told them that I had asked for the fries to be swapped with onion rings and attempted to him them back the bag. They said that's okay we'll just give you the onion rings, so they did in a small bag. After waiting about another minute for my soda I said something to them about my drink and they told me that I didn't order one so I hadn't paid for one. I said to them it is in the combo and you charge me the correct amount including tax for the combo which I ordered. I got an argument on whether I ordered a combo or not with the not so bright worker. After I eventually got them to give me a soda I drove off. It was after I started fighting into what was the absolute driest sandwich I've ever gotten from a Burger King, (they are usually quite messy, sloppy but delicious) I take out two onion rings which are tiny little onion rings that are absolutely delicious when prepared properly then reach back into the bag and took out another along with a couple of french fries. This surprised me so I looked in the bag and discovered that it was a box of french fries with four onion rings total on top of them. This is pretty close to the typical experience at this location. Update: there is a whole new atmosphere and a whole new experience at this location newly remodeled, all new staff, as well as new on-site management incredibly well. What I would have previously rated as the worst Burger King south of the Canadian border I will now have to change that ranking to definitely one of the top three I have ever been in the food is absolutely done well. The place was spotless including the bathroom. I watched tables getting cleaned and floors getting cleaned that absolutely had nothing on them to begin with. If the former staff we're here you would have had to bus your own table. This is a very good place now where the crew is working as a team not as individuals who were miserable just to be there like before. Changing from a 4 start rating due to poor service, poor management and poor follow thru after filling out a survey and requesting someone follow up with me after the survey offered.

When I pulled up to the speaker to place my order 30 minutes before closing that they were out of both crispy and grilled chicken. And that they were also out of Whopper meat, if I wanted something I would have to get a jr Whopper. I laughed at first, said ok but give me an order of mozz stick as well cause I might still be hungry. While I was in line the parking lot lights went out, about quarter of midnight. When I got to the window the staff was still complaining about dealing with the customers before me. I asked why I had to have a jr and asked if the food was cooked to order and was informed that the burgers were in fact not cooked to order, that it was all mass cooked and held warm till they were ordered and that they would not cook one patty. I was a bit mad at this point. I payed for my food and left.

When I got home I discovered my mozz sticks were not in the bag but the marinara was. I called the store, asked for the manager and complained to her about the situation. She informed me that she was just a shift runner and not the store manager, she seemed dumbfounded and didn't quite know what to say. Just alot of stumbling over her words. I hung up and threw ALL food directly into the trash. I did the survey on the back of my receipt and did my best to describe the situation and when the survey asked if I wanted someone to follow-up I said I did.

I forgot all about this after a few days and then, about 5 or 6 days later I received an email asking if anyone followed up with me about this and I selected the no option. It took me to a website where I selected a few options and was given a number I could call if I wanted. I really don't think I'll ever be back after this experience so I didn't bother calling. This place is just horrible. I never give terrible reviews, I usually just don't comment but the past couple time I've gonna here, it just gets worse than the previous visit. One time I went there, they put up a sign that the restaurant had no crispy chicken, mayo, or napkins. I can forgive this because they can't control the delivery service. Another time I went, my order was incorrect in the drive thru. When I informed them, they asked me to pull around and wait for the corrected order. I waited 5 minutes for them to give me the same incorrect order!! At this point I just asked to be reimbursed. This happened close to their closing time so again I excused them. This morning, I asked for 2 items in the value meal breakfast menu in the drive thru. They told me the total was $5.50. I figured I'd correct this at the window. There were 2 cars ahead if me. First, it took me 10 minutes to get to the window. When I finally get to the window, I lower my window waiting to talk to someone about the total. Instead, 3 people come the window doing something and never acknowledge my presence. I waited 5 minutes and still nothing. At this point, I decided to just drive off.
