Owner is very unprofessional. Workers and environment is very nonchalant. I ordered 3 BMT's 2 nights ago, and when I went to pick up my order no worker was on the floor. I thought nothing of it because it was close to closing...when I got home and opened my sandwiches they all had half inch thick meat inside...it was inedible...I threw the sandwiches away and planned on contacting the store the next day because they had already closed...I called the next day and no one picked up the phone. So the next day when I was in the area I stopped in the store to talk to owner. I explained to him my situation and he said it must've been a mix up because another customer called and asked for the chunks(which I find hard to believe). He then asked me what I wanted to do about the situation and I simply replied some compensation would be nice. I said maybe even a credit. He refused both, unless I bought the sandwiches back to the store. I told him they were thrown away but I had pictures. He explained he couldn't do that, and that I got extra meat so I should've been happy with it. I told him I ordered sliced meat, thick slabs of meat change the texture and taste of the sandwich. He explained I used a coupon so I got a lot of food for $40 worth sandwiches. I showed him pictures of the sandwiches and he still said I had to bring them in. That was appalling because most restaurants don't ask for old food back, as it isnt sanitary and against servsafe restrictions. I thought the pictures would be enough, but they weren't. This guy does not accept coupons in-store, and if you order online and use the coupon, he will be bias against you. They workers are very nonchalant and lackadaisical in their work. Read moreI am very disappointed in the service I received here! I placed an order online for the first time, so I was unfamiliar with the website. After I placed my order, I went to go pick it up and assumed everything was fine. Upon returning back to work, I opened up the sandwich and there were a bunch of vegetables on the sandwich that I not only didn’t order, but cannot eat because of allergies. When I noticed this, I called the store to let them know what happened. I spoke with a girl and she said “Since the vegetables were on your order ticket, I made the sandwich correctly so I can’t offer you a refund or make you a new sandwich unless you pay for it.“ Apparently when you order online, they automatically add almost every vegetable to your sandwich that they offer there. I’m not the kind of person to leave bad reviews, but in this instance I felt like it was necessary. I have worked in customer service for several years and know how to deliver great customer service. What I experienced that day was so poor and I am disappointed that nobody offered to help me. I spent a total of $17 on food that I could not eat! It all went to waste and that makes me even more upset given the fact that there are a lot of people who can’t afford food. I really wish they would do better by their customers. Read moreAbsolutely deplorable service. Girls that were serving us literally took 20 minutes to prepare food for our family of 4. That includes 2 children that just got pizza. I've literally never seen someone take 5 minutes cutting and pizza before. No sense of urgency in helping customers, the music is so loud we can't even heard each other across the table and the spinach looked wilted. Food didn't look properly stocked and nobody here seems to care. The apple juice that my son drank also expired almost an entire month ago.
My family comes to Subway quite often and we stopped at this one on the way back from Calvert Cliffs. If the franchise owner is looking at this review, you really need to do something about your employees. They will end up costing you money.
UPDATE: And now my son is sick. I'm sure this is no coincidence and I assure you that Subway corporate will be hearing about this....
