Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Maryland

Ordered a mobile order. Arrived and the place was chaos. I've never seen a place so disorganized. The cashier gets my name and says they're out of what I ordered but it will be ten minutes. That's fine. 15 minutes goes by and nothing. He apologizes. He decides to tell everyone to stop all mobile orders from being made so they can get the in-house line down. All while my order was being "worked" on. So my wait time goes up. I mean I ordered ahead so I wouldn't have to wait in line... but ok. He takes a person's order then goes back and tries to fulfill this order. He finally asks for help on the register. The young lady that came up was nice but goodness, had no clue what she was doing. Everytime she messed up she would need a managers "finger" to delete what she needed deleted or she's asking this guy for help, ultimately distracting him from fufilling said orders. The manager in the back is clearly getting angry. She's supposed to be off work so she's mad. You can see it. You can feel the tension. I believe her name was Mia. Let's get back to my original cashier who's pretty much running the whole show.... he's been working at this establishment for 2 weeks. TWO WEEKS! I'm starting to feel bad for the guy. He's trying his best. There's no manager leading the team. They needed him on the register, the young girl fulfilling the orders, and once the line was down, then him back to fulfilling the orders alongside the girl. No one to blame but management. Mia the manager took over on the register and she was completely rude to every customer she helped before she left. It came time for my order, half was sitting on the counter the whole time. Oh but my fries weren't ready, the young man said 4 minutes. 10 minutes goes by, says 4 more. Yikes! I'm starting to get irritated and become passive with him. I finally get my food and walk out. 50 freaking minutes! FIFTY.

My food was cold (other than the fries). Horrible, horrible, horrible food and service. I honestly don't think I'll go back.

To the guy running it all, you're doing a great job for someone who's been working there for 2 weeks. You just have poor leaders directing (not directing) you in the right way. Keep being positive like you were. You are the real...

The chicken was the driest chicken I have ever had. The Mac and cheese was completely watered down and tasted horrible and the fries tasted like they were sitting for a while so they recooked them. Worst food I have ever had at Popeyes. So much for having fried chicken down the street from my house. I live in Dunkirk and was looking forward to this. O well.

Update. It’s actually gotten worse. Decided to give it another try. The Mac n cheese was insanely over cooked. I actually had to spit it out. The fries were just thrown into the bag and I live 3 minutes away and they were cold already. So I’m assuming they were cold when put into the bag. The chicken wasn’t dry this time but over cooked. I will be giving up on this Popeyes.

I feel I need to add I have never actually had bad Popeyes before this one. Ever.

I keep trying them while I’m the area and they seem to get worse. Absolutely the worse service you will ever receive. I just went into the restroom to wash my hands and there is no soap. So how do the employees wash there hands after they use the restroom. Please close...

My disappointment in my meal and service was immeasurable. I ordered a 3 piece chicken tender combo to which I received what looked like a chicken patty which was black on the inside. Might as well tossed a rat in the fryers and served it to me. Every single time I come to this establishment I’m immediately greeted by the person telling me to wait while there are no other cars in-front of me. I work in the food industry and understand it can be difficult to get out orders in a timely fashion but this is simply ludicrous! After all you’re just putting fries and chicken in fryers, it’s not rocket science. I’ve waited up to 20 or 30 minutes in the drive thru and can say with absolute the workers simply don’t care about the customers. They are slow and to be quite frank rude and impatient. Even if your job sucks that’s no excuse to behave like a stickler! I’m sick of these workers ruining the place I love, until new standards are set I will be taking my business elsewhere and eating at the Popeyes in prince Frederick or better yet chick-fil-a....
