Baby just bad luck, but I would consider pizza fast food.Out of the whole restaurant there were two tables with people dining and three people waiting for pickups. The two ladies behind the desk constantly moving, but not getting anything done. At least for my observation. Almost seem like she didn't understand what she's supposed to be doing. this is definitely the worst experience I've ever had at any pizza place I've ever been to. I called and ordered at 545 for a large pepperoni. Got there at 6:19 and was told it would be coming out shortly. I figured I go through my emails which I did and when I looked at the clock it was 6: 45 I had asked the lady at the desk if she could check on the order and she told me it would be out in 4 minutes. Comes 7:00 I asked her again and she disappears into the back. 705 I asked manager what's going on with the order and she came out with it at 7:15.
I don't understand this. I called about 30 minutes prior, but from what it looks like based on the traffic I'd seen people that decided to pay when they arrived despite them calling ahead of time their food was not made till they got there. I'm assuming this because they all had to wait. But those who had paid over the phone their food was ready. However, I know the ovens take about 5 minutes for a pizza to run through. So this must mean that the call was not put in. When I went there and paid she didn't put it in. When I asked her about it it still wasn't put in. And only when I asked the manager it was made. I don't see what else could have happened here. There was one other person that seemed to be waiting there quite a while almost as long as I was and was getting a bit impatient. When he asked her about the order his pizza was there but his bag was given to the person before him. So she runs outside and gets it in order to complete his order and gave him the bag that she retrieved from the previous customer and his pizza. I know it may be difficult to get people at this location as the probably need a ride. There aren't any houses around there, not that I know of not in walking distance. But this was a bit ridiculous. The manager did give me a $10 gift certificate as I mentioned I've been there for an hour. Still does not make the way worth it. I don't think I'll be going to this location again. It was more convenient as the next location is couple miles past my house, but I've never experienced this type of...
Read more3 items out of 6 on my order were missing. This is not the first time. But it will definitely be the last. I really used to like Ledo in Dunkirk, used to place an order for carry out on a fairly regular basis, for a quick supper during the week. Then things started to always be missing from my orders. EVERY time I went, I had to make certain to take everything out of the bag and inventory closely to make sure my order was complete. More often than not, one or more items was missing. Having to do this becomes tedious. And then, if it's a cooked item that is missing - gosh, you have to wait another 10-15 minutes while they get it together for you. While the rest of your order gets cold. You know - other places consistently manage to put all the required items in the bag, why can Ledo in Dunkirk not do this? So I stopped going for a long time, probably a year and a half or more. Last night we decided to give good old Ledo a try again. I do miss their grilled chicken salad. BUT - it's been so long since I was there, I completely forgot about their shoddy attention to detail in filling the carryout orders, and I forgot to stand there and unpack/inventory my order. Silly me. And yep, sure enough, I got all the way home and discovered 3 items out of 6 that I ordered (THREE out of SIX) were missing from my bag. I'm quite sure that, had I driven back - the manager would've made sure I got my missing items, while I waited a good 10-15 minutes for them to be prepared. That is NOT the point. The point is - why should I always need to unpack and inventory my bag? It's comforting to know that some things never...
Read moreWent here to get a standard meal. Sat in the back where only one other table was seated. The waitress / bartender approached us and took our drink order, no big deal. Brought our drinks and took our food order. She did not write anything down. My husband ordered a salad and as she walked away she asked him if he wanted salad dressing with it ( as it was like an after thought to her ) he said blue cheese. She repeated blue cheese? He said yes. Our soup and salad came out quickly my husband was given two plastic little cups of dressing and he noticed that after he poured the salad dressing on his salad and tasted it that she gave him ranch. He is not one to complain and said he would just eat it no big deal. Our meal arrived and was hot. Not grand food but, Better than the rival local Italian place. We receive our bill and were stunned! We were charged $3.99 for salad dressing!!! Seriously! No where on the menu does it say salad dressing additional $3.99, it does say for entree salads - extra dressing is .75 charge! Ours was a side salad! Needless to say it’s obvious that they are scamming people. As a waitress, it is her responsibility to make sure the customer knows of non advertised additional charges. She is the one who put in the charges and knowingly charged us this so....she is the one who got less of a tip for it because we had to pay $4 for the salad dressing! I will not patronize this business again and will not recommend it! I actually would rather eat at the rival Italian restaurant and knowingly eat bad food and get poor customer service...
