Last week I tried to walk-in at the Dunnellon Quest facility at 11:45 AM. The front door was locked, and upon knocking, I was told I needed an appointment. I followed the direction of the person speaking to me from behind a barely open door, went home and made an appointment. I returned a couple of days later, on my scheduled time. Perhaps due to the early appointment and fasting, I accidentally forgot my mask. When I asked the staff member if she could give me one to wear, the answer was no. She then asked me to leave and when I said that it was rude, that this is a medical facility and she should be able to provide me with a mask, she continued to yell at me to leave the facility and also told me not to return. I then drove home to find a mask, adjusted my work schedule once again and drove to the Beverly Hills facility. I walked-in for an appointment and was promptly attended. However, I witnessed the exact same situation at the Beverly Hills location with someone else. A gentleman, elderly, walked in without a mask and he appeared flustered. A staff member asked the gentleman to leave, because he did not have a mask. At that moment, I kindly interjected and asked the lady if she could provide a mask to the man, to which she also responded with a solid NO and continued to ask the man to leave the facility. I find it hard to believe, that QUEST labs do not make enough of a profit margin on their services, that they cannot afford to give a $.10 mask to those who forgot one, or are not wearing one. A lot of us have mobility problems, transportation difficulties, work scheduling conflicts, and most importantly, are there for a health screening reason. I do not claim to understand the pressures that these companies and employees have to subject themselves on a daily basis, but these types of experiences...
Read more2025 Easy sign in process and the technicians are always pleasant and distracting me so I don't notice them drawing my blood. If I can say it's not a pleasure, but they make blood tests much easier for me. Always on schedule, clean facility and pleasant atmosphere. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 6-2023 All electronic devices for checking in, no HUMANS. Phlebotomist was very kind, professional and very gentle. She was able to help me relax enough to draw my blood. Technician I give all the stars in the skyâââââââ Hardworking, only one there that day, didn't seem very fair. ââtwo stars for Quest business needs to hire more people to run more smoothly. Every appointment was filled except noon, that's a long time for fasting. Only one machine to check in other one not working. And no place, shelf to look for the information that they requested. Very cold and dreary atmosphere, my opinion. TV repeats over and over again.
8- 2022 Well today's visit was giving a lot of my blood and I am not good with blood draws. They have another sign-in machines and it was pretty easy to maneuver. Greeted by friendly staff and only waited a few moments before being called back. I was nervous about the amount of blood that I had to give. The lady who was drawing my blood was very calming and helped me stay distracted. She made sure that I was okay before letting me stand and then made sure I could walk away safely. No bruises and couldn't even see the needle mark at all. My husband also had appointment and was pleased with his experience also. * Back to recommending this location again, new staff are much kinder and gentle. Back to being 5 stars again. Our last visit was horrible and the two ladies were vampires with attitudes. Both of us had bruises for weeks. Bad experiences in the past. No longer employed...
Read moreIâve been going to this location for years and never had an issue until this week. I arrived at 1:50pm to give a urine sample needed for my surgery coming up next week. I signed in and sat there for about 15 minutes when this older white lady came out and was so rude. She said if you have stand by we canât see you and proceeded to shove a paper in my face. I told her I needed it for today and her words were âtoo bad we close at 2:30â The way she spoke was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. There is a better way to talk to people. I made an appointment for the next day and when I was called back it was by another woman. The older lady from the day before pulled her into another room when she saw me and I heard them whispering. After that I was told I couldnât be seen because my script was on a labcorp form and they didnât have an order for me. I had the order with me but because it wasnât in their system they couldnât do it. I know for a fact this isnât true. I left and went to the Beverly Hills location. I didnât trust that older woman to not mess with my sample. I was seen with no issues at the Beverly Hills location. She needs to be fired. You donât treat people like that. Maybe a job where she doesnât work with the public would be...
