Breakfast Station — Restaurant in Dunnellon

We have been to this location in Dunnellon several times, even finding it better than the one in Ocala. To this day. My husband and I went, it was around 12 noon. There weren't that many people. The person who received us told us to sit at a table in the middle. I noticed that there was a Booth available. I asked him if we could go there and he said yes. We sat down and the table was still not clean. My mother, it looks like we've done something wrong. And the man who cleans the tables came and began to say things to us and then Ivy the waitress came and began to assault us in a loud voice and saying that we couldn't sit there. That we had to wait outside while they cleaned the table. I told him that the young woman told us that we could use that Booth. We got up because we were already embarrassed with the attitude of Ivy and this man. We are older people and we found it disrespectful the way they yelled at us that even people turned to look. What a shame!! Finally we were able to sit down and that screaming waitress touched us. By now I was a bit upset and I asked her if she was angry or upset about something. She told me not. She brought us the menu. We asked for strawberry lemonade because I like how they make it. When they brought me my plate I stared at it because I didn't think it was what I ordered and I called the waitress and told her. She told me that was what she ordered and I told her this is a hamburger and I don't like them. She told me that she could ask for something else. I explained to her what she wanted but that she didn't remember her name. He indicated one and when the plate came it wasn't either. I was already losing patience and to avoid further trouble I kept the dish that I barely ate. The dish included mushroom that was burnt and dried out. And very little amount. I think it was a bad day for me to go to this place today. Even so, I plan to return because I like the dish that I always order that comes in a skillet. I hope to have a better experience when I return. And hopefully Ivy won't wait on me. The previous times we have gone we have never...

I am saddened to write this, we just moved here and this was our 3 visit..., first 2 were pretty good so we came again. I ordered and accidentally forgot to tell her egg whites only. I couldn't get her attention so immediately I walked to where she was pouring our orange juice and apologized and told her I forgot to tell her. She comes to my table minutes later and informs me she doubts it's going to come out right my ticket was at the end, she told the cook but doesn't think he can do his job (all from her) she then tells me when it comes out wrong she will have them remake it....I questioned why the ticket couldn't be fixed, she expressed they cannot just make the change, and express I didn't want to have to wait again to have the food remade. (Again she expressed this all before food even came over) then minutes later she's taking a order from the table next to mine in the center of the restaurant, she yells over the customers she is with to express to me she had spoke to someone about making order (yelling) this is embarrassing to me. Breakfast comes it is right, we eat go to leave, at this point was still tipping her....I express to the girl checking me out that it was not appropriate to yell across a restaurant at me and it's embarrassing to me the waitress walks up while about to tell a tip for the ticket and heard me quietly expressing this became Loud drawing more attention, about the situation. Was confrontational and I walked as she was still going at me. On the way out told the gentleman at the door I wouldn't be back. Usually there is 4 to 6 of us just me and the baby today. I don't want to be embarrassed by a waitress or confronted about cooks not doing their job or being yelled at across a restaurant and then having a confrontational conversation......was totally...

I'd like to start off by saying I don't like to complain, however I left the resturant very irritated. I usually go to the Beverly hills location, but this one is closer to my home. I can say the staff is very friendly and kind. The food was meh I got eggs benedict and I to be honest should've just asked for hard boiled eggs with a side of hollandaise. My poached eggs were hard instead of runny super disappointing. The water is absolutely horrible. It taste like mildew and moldy. Could I have complained? Sure. But I am not the kind of person to send food back. This wasn't what irritated me though... the Beverly hills location has a kiosk where customers choose their own tip etc not the cashier doing it for you. Why would a staff member ask me what I'd like to tip and then escalate the amount. Due to the food and service I felt a 10% tip was more than adequate on my check, but somehow the waitress that cashed me out didn't approve of the amount I said to add to the bill. Maybe she doesn't understand simple math. It doesn't give me the option to post a photo of my receipt, but my total was $60.33 I said please add a tip she said how much I said 10% please she said okay and handed me the receipt. I recieved the text alert of the charge on my card as I got to the car and was so angry to see my total at $71.55. She added an $11.22 tip when it should have been a $6.03 tip. I will not be returning to this location. I love eating at breakfast station and I always tip 20-30%. But in my opinion I want to know if that extra money she added on to my bill actually went to my actual server or if she pocketed it.
