Let me just say that as a local Dunnelloneon, I really appreciate the nod to my hometown with the names of the drink and the food menu! Walking in, you get that quaint hometown coffee shop feel. Staff is super friendly even with as busy as they have been. The wait times each time I've gone in have been pretty long, and they are super apologetic for the wait. The only thing I would like to see is another POS system in addition to the one they have, and it looks to be set up for a drive thru, but it's not operational. Those things would decrease the wait time and improve functionality. I had the Blue Run latte, and it was AMAZING! It was so good I had to order another before I left. I've never tasted anything like it, and the blend was so unique that it can only be found in a boutique coffee shop like this. I like the fact that they offered a decaf latte since I have a heart condition and caffeine is not my friend. I also had the Boomtown Bagel on my first visit, which was fantastic as well. The Everything Bagel it was made with was fresh and soft. I was worried the Boomtown Sauce may be spicy or too much on the bagel, but I was pleasantly surprised at the mild complimenting flavor, so don't omit the sauce if you are questioning it. If you order cooked food they give you a little pager which I thought was convenient, you can wait outside at one of the tables or even sit in your vehicle if its parked up front. The dining area has plenty of seating which it definitely needs with as popular as it is so far. There is also some outdoor seating. What I loved most about the dining area and I was thoroughly impressed that they had the forethought to do this, was the corner kids play area with seating for the parents. It was definitely being utilized as there were several kids playing and parents enjoying themselves. This place is well overdue and needed for our town and the prices are very reasonable. Walking into Dunnellon Coffee Co feels as refreshing and invigorating as the food tastes! You want to know about the food so let’s talk about that first. I’m slowly working my way through their menu. In the past I’ve had the pesto chicken and chicken salad sandwiches; both delightfully curated with distinct flavor and FRESH ingredients! Today I thoroughly enjoyed the Italian panini perfectly filling. It has the right amount of meat, mayo with Italian seasoning and hero that pulls it all together are the sweet banana peppers. Like any true Italian sandwhich the sweet pep of the peppers really brings out the meat flavors and slightly quells the heat. Lastly the bread is just perfect. Soft on the inside even after being pressed and still a crunch from the outside. If you like a sandwhich with a slight kick that rings true to Italian sandwiches then this is a great one to try!

The food is great but the core of this coffee shop is obviously community. This visit the shop had up Christmas decorations, smiling faces and kind workers. A kid corner with toys and the back of the shop proudly displays some local elementary school students artwork. This is a true local coffee shop worth your visit!

Have gone 2 times now. The interior is wonderful, the atmosphere is great, very local vibes. Unfortunately the coffee (the main reason to go to a coffee shop) is sub-par.

My first coffee was a cold brew, I would rate it 5/10.

My second coffee was an iced latte, I would rate this a 6/10, very bland and pretty much just tastes like milk.

As far as the food goes it is very good, both times the food has been very flavorful. But, both times I have received something different than I ordered.

My first food order was an Italian Panini, I later realized they made me the chicken avocado panini.

My second order was the flatbread pesto chicken, you can see in the pictures that what I ordered was NOT what I received, I’m not even sure what this is.

Our friends also went and said their coffee tasted like chemicals. But the food was good.
