Worst experience I’ve ever had. The down side was the girl that checked out our groceries. Based on other reviews I’d wager it was the same girl. Tried to see her name tag but seems she’s learned and isn’t wearing it anymore? She seemed cold and far from friendly. We brought up buying the bags (this was our maiden voyage to Aldi’s) and husband pointed out she was just throwing everything in the cart and told her she doesn’t seem to like us. Her response was “I don’t have an opinion, I just work here”. After we paid and went off to the side to bag our groceries she was over the top friendly to next lady who they had quite a great conversation (in Spanish), not that it matters but is there an issue with us because we’re not Spanish? She was over the top friendly with all other customers after us so my husband asked her straight out why. Did we do something to offend her? She would not make eye contact, just loudly kept saying “THANK YOU, HAVE A NICE DAY”. Who acts like that?!! Kicker was when I was forwarding my complaint to corporate and it asked for my receipt number and I realized she didn’t give me my receipt. Was that by design or just an oversight? We will never know. Luckily you can submit your corporate complaint without the...
Read moreStore is okay, typical Aldi. Check out staff however are bottom tier. Trying to check out, unfortunately this store does not offer self checkout. I get in line, the lady in front of me is conversing with the guy ringing her stuff up. They are obviously related or friends discussing social media and family members. After she cashes out she DOES NOT MOVE. I am unable to get my cart around so he can put my items in. For a short time he doesn’t even start ringing my stuff up. They’re just having a conversation while I wait. She’s packing her grocery bag at his check out instead of moving to the counter like all the other customers. When she’s finally done she must’ve saw I’m looking irritated by now. Then she starts in on me, making a scene. I told her she should’ve moved to the counter to pack her things. She continues to harass me, aldi guy says nothing lets his friend continue to bother me even after I asked her to leave me alone. He never tells her to stop or leave. After she finally leaves he had nothing to say. I left what should have been a quick trip rattled and upset. Luckily there are other Aldi’s...
Read moreI've been to this Aldi a couple of times now. Their prices, for the most part, are less than the big chain grocery stores. They don't carry many name brands, but their store brands are of a fairly decent quality for the products I've purchased. You do need to bring your own bags if you do not wish to purchase bags from them. However, they sometimes do have boxes available for free, but they are first come first serve. Also, don't forget your quarter if you need a shopping cart, which is yet another way they keep their prices down. The staff is pretty friendly, happy to assist if you have questions or concerns. The store is kept very clean, including the restrooms. Sanitizing wipes for the carts and hand sanitizer are provided by the entrance and exit. They offer a good variety of products, especially in their Finds aisle, which features goods and products that change monthly at very reasonable prices. If you're in the area and looking to save a little money on groceries, they're...
