I emailed this below, but I do believe the bad review I received should also reflect on the restaurant. So here's the one star the store so rightfully earned.
Hey there. I work for Doordash and wanted to make you aware of an incident that occurred last night 8/31/2024. I came to pick up an order at 9 something. I hung out at the drive thru and watched 3 workers see, and ignore me for about 5 minutes. They were also playing around, throwing stuff at eachother and at one point one of them started dancing. So I pull up to a stall and get the order pretty quick that way, which means the order had been ready, and clearly just sitting there. This resulted in me getting a 1 star review for delivering "ice cold food" to the customer. It was also marked late which I was penalized for. One star reviews effect the quality of orders I'm shown, think $10-$15 orders, going down to $3-$7 orders, if I'm lucky. I got another order about 10:28 p.m. and accepted it. I pull up to the store at like 10:35 and it's pitch black. So I call the store and speak with "Jacob" who was incredibly rude, but also looked to be the only male working that night. I asked him what time the store closed and he hesitated and said 10:30 p.m. I then heard laughing in the background. It was clear he wasn't going to help so I called DD to tell them what was going on. I acquired this email from a negative review I left on a personal experience I actually had not too long ago. So I hope complaining actually helps. I know it's difficult to get good help these days, but this isn't the first time I've pulled up to this store having closed early by people who clearly didn't want to be there. I did call the store and let them know, a manager I spoke with told me she would tell the gm. I just want to make sure that happens since you clearly have liars working here. Just one more thing, the parking lot had cars pulling through and leaving because they weren't supposed to be closed yet, so you guys missed out on several orders last night. Read moreCame by at night around 9:45 right around peak business for them, and had to wait a little while for someone to take my order. This isn’t uncommon for them but it’s not a negative thing, they’re very clearly packed and trying their best and as someone who works fast food i know how stressful that can be. I just decided to enjoy my time and wait, I noticed they were running a half price deal for slushees on the app so i downloaded the app and ordered there considering all i wanted was a slushee. I placed the order and left a pretty good tip considering my minimal order. A couple minutes later a kind woman i believe her name was Stacy or something of the sort told me they were out of slush mix. I was a little bummed but again, understood. I took a while to decided what else i wanted while she was patiently waiting and i felt bad, but she was continuously polite. I chose a vanilla shake instead. Not even minutes later she came out with my shake, i believe a large. Despite the reasonable wait at the beginning they were extremely fast, polite, and courteous. I wish i could’ve given her even more for a tip had i known she would’ve been so sweet. For such a unique restaurant and how busy they are their service is always great when i go, i’ll continue to eat there and hope i come across that young lady again....
Read moreWe ordered 3 large shakes. 2 strawberry banana and one peanut butter banana. No cherry's. After I already pay for the order another worker comes out to tell me they have no bananas. I said fine. Just make them without banana. They come out with 2 medium strawberry shakes and a medium peanut butter strawberry shake all with cherry. I told them they were all suppose to be large and it was suppose to have no cherry's and the last was suppose to be just peanut butter. I said just fix the peanut butter. Ill pick the cherry's off the other. Then I look at the reciept. They charged me for banana in all of them and the strawberry in the peanut butter. I told them they needed to fix it. They bring out the peanut butter still with a cherry on top. Then tell me they need to go inside and talk to the manager. They come back out and tell me they are going to have to refund the order then ring it up again. I said fine. He comes back out and says can you check your bank and see if you got refunded so we can rerun your order. Ok again fine whatever. Then they ring the order up again and I have to dig my card out again...
