We visited the children’s museum for the first time on a weekend day. It was i ok n capacity but even though a lot of space to kids play safely. The spaces are awesome and beautiful! The calm room was great for my 10 months old, he spent almost 2 hours playing with the toys and others kids. My girls loved the water space! Most of the time they played there. The staff was gentle and nice. Bathroom was cleaned and áreas was organized! Excellent place to go with kids. It’s inside the base so you have to get a pass in the visitor center or go with a military friend in the car. 😄

We frequent the one on Tacoma and finally got the chance to experience this location. Ourselves and the children loved it! Only downfall is that their AC only works at the front desk or something like that meaning that when it's hot out the play areas get even hotter. This meant closing the building down once it hit 80° which only gave us about 45 minutes of play time, but it's worth it. Also, there's no fee to enter but they do mention that it's donation based. They don't require it and won't push if you have a membership to the others 😁

We love this museum! Way better than the one in Tacoma. Everything was in working order besides the light up wind station and the lights to the center ramped play area. Though it may be to conserve energy since it was only open for a couple hours that day; nonetheless they were still usable. There are some other small things but as a non-profit, it takes time to fix those.

There were some new play sets that my child absolutely loved and for reference she just turned 2 years old. The stone water painting was a genius idea! I love that you can smell the sanitized water in the water station area. Doesn't smell like mold or mildew. Though pretty please put out more towels so we can dry our children off. They seem to always be gone when we get there. For those mentioning feeling bad about not being able to donate. I encourage you to google what a non-profit is before giving this establishment a lesser rating just for that. There have been times where i did pay and times where i didnt. I got treated no differently on either occasion and absolutely never felt judged or looked at wrong by the staff. If you are worried about your kids hearing you say no, why? That is a good lesson for them to know its okay to say “no”

For those giving this establishment a one star or other bad ratings because its on JBLM What did you think? Its literally called The Children's Museum of JBLM… of course it is on the military base… ??

For those mentioning the sanitation not being good. You couldnt be further from the truth.

This museum is clean and organized and they have sanitation...

Unfortunately I had the worst experience ever booking for my son birthday this weekend . No one help us out showing up the room for the party or explaining to us how to set up our banner since they want people to use specific stuff . Spend 180$ to book and no one ever walk up to check or ask if we need anything as it stated in the email we were supposed to have somebody helping . Not only that but when we were trying to clean up the area before leaving lookinh for supply the lady stormed yelling at us not to open anything (cabinets ) which we didn’t know since we book the room and we were just trying to clean . One of the lady was super sick coughing and sneezing everywhere . On top of the we over heard them trying to close up 30 minutes early . So for 180$ of birthday party spent for a room for 1hr and 30 minutes it wasn’t a...
