Oh my goodness. So happy...

I am not drawn to jewelry as so few designs appeal to me. I hadn't realized there was a goldsmith in Duvall until I saw a Facebook post with a recommendation. So, I stopped in to find out the value of some of my jewelry and possible trade / cash out. I also had my Mother's heirloom ring that had somehow gotten awfully bruised, beaten and broken.

Lou was more than happy to work with me to figure out a good refresh and remake into something that completely honored the sapphire from its original design and into a design that was completely "me". He was always available to take my questions and other inquires, and I had the absolute confidence that I would love the result.

And, oh, do I! The moment it went on my finger it felt like it had always been there and the 'brand new' refreshed stone absolutely honors the original ring. Can't stop looking at it. ...

I had seven loose sapphires that needed to be mounted as at least one ring and then what to do with the rest? I had ideas, Duvall’s were far superior. Duvall Goldsmiths has made me excited about jewelry. I never expected that. Relative to other quotes, they were super reasonable, less than half as much. They estimated three weeks, but got it done in two (one was Thanksgiving week), well in time for Christmas (maybe too well, I’m having a hard time keeping my mouth shut about a Christmas gift that’s going to make my wife probably hurt me with a hug). You see my wife panned these sapphires herself, from a pile of Montana dirt, more than two years ago, and she has forgotten about them, and now they are the most $valuable, beautiful, two pieces of jewelry she owns, both aesthetically and sentimentally. My main experience was with Lou, who had the most radiant and down to earth energy. He is one of their jewelers, and the quote/service he gave me was so efficiently done and kindly delivered. There is another jeweler that I interacted with at pick up who ALSO had spectacular energy and service, but I apologize for not getting his name.

I had brought in my partner's ring that was split in the back, and needed a good cleaning and polish. It came back BRAND new, sparkling, and my partner was so incredibly happy with the work.

Will be coming here again and furiously recommending.
