Came here several weeks ago for date night with the wife. Thankfully we beat the crowd and was able to get seated pretty quickly, but it filled up fast. Ordered the mushroom risotto and pasta special (I can't recall what) All I recall is that the food was great, especially the mushroom risotto. Service was a bit slow, but it was date night and the waitress was hella busy. Atmosphere was definitely louder, having the bar in close proximity price is spendy, definitely occasional date night sort of price point overall good, and would go again

Eggs Bene was just OK. Great service with cold water and tasty coffee. Plenty of flavor contrary to the another review, so maybe consistency is the key here. The English muffin was soggy. I thought it wasn't toasted but I can see that it was. Maybe it sat in the window too long because the potatoes were not hot. Not cold but kinda warm. Next time I'll get the Duvall breakfast, the pancakes looked like buttermilk heaven...

The mushroom risotto was divine! The pear salid delicious. The table next to us received fish that was raw in the middle that had to go back to the kitchen for a bit more fire but they said the taste was great. The decor is overdue for a makeover to make the setting worthy of the food.

A definite 4.5 star experience. A true gem of a find in downtown Duvall. Late afternoon Sunday stop after a hike. Taproom/bar on top of meals. Our server was very personable and sweet. Yes indeed the prices are high imo, even for the current economic climate. High extras costs for things like real maple syrup and sweet potato fries. But the food we enjoyed was worth it to our taste. Breakfast served all day, only on weekends. The breakfast menu has all the usual suspects plus a few surprises. And the lunch menu is heavy on the handhelds with some salads also. The Rueben my wife ordered was delicious if somewhat spendy. Thick cut corned beef, nicely toasted rye (from Grateful Bread nearby?) and kraut made a great example of this sandwich. Pronounced “delicious”. After numerous questions, I chose to try breakfast item-biscuits and gravy. Not only is it a favorite of mine anywhere, it’s a nice modest cost. I also added a side of link sausage. This turned out to be a fantastic choice as it was one of the best versions I have had in the last five years or so. Especially outside the south. Scratch made gravy heavy on the sausage and very flavorful. One of my questions had been if the make their own biscuits which they don’t but buy them from Grateful Bread. So fluffy and fresh tasting that had to have been baked that day. Perfect vessel for the gravy. Loved every morsel. Came with potatoes that I felt were over cooked. Maybe my issue. The sausage links-which I was unable to find out the name of the producer-were also very good. Richly herby with sage and other spices. If I knew who made them I buy a lot myself. A fabulous, unexpected, soon to be revisited find for dining. We live about an hour away and intend to return for breakfast or ? in the...

We stopped by here for brunch before the Duvall Days Parade and were able to sit down in the bar area immediately (everybody else was sitting outside). Coffee was hot and juice was cold. I also ordered a non-alcoholic bloody Mary and it was delicious! My boyfriend got a scramble and I got the Snoqualmie Valley breakfast with blueberry pancakes. It was so much food! Didn't finish it all since the pancakes we're thick and the size of the plate, but the bacon was salty and crisp and my over easy eggs were perfect. The atmosphere was informal, chill, and someone's playlist was on (an eclectic array of 70s rock to popular early 2000s punk). I believe our bartender's name was Chris and he was attentive and very nice and chatty, but not hovering. Would love to come here again to try their regular...

This place consistently serves high quality food with genuine small town hospitality. I ride my motorcycle from Edmonds to Duvall just for a beer and a snack on nice evenings. Highly recommend.

Update Aug 2024:

Still killing it in Duvall. And I am still riding from Edmonds (which has pretty damn good food too) just to visit this gem. Their dinner specials are ridiculous. The service is professional and friendly. Very good beer selection (with a cider on tap now! Yay!) and crafted cocktails with specials on the fresh sheet.

And you can hit a brunch on the weekend. Oh yeah, the best sweet potato fries I've had around here.

The quality and charm has been consistently high all the years I have been coming here. ...
