Oh wow. Editing my review because this happened AGAIN this week. I looked at the Red Pepper website and found the "deal" in the attached photo. I was asked which two pizzas I wanted, to which I replied 1 pepperoni and 1 cheese. The "deal" which I specified I was ordering when I called, was $48 when I picked it up. So, unless Pepperoni is considered a "premium topping" this place continues to take advantage of the community with false marketing and pull-the-wool-over-your-eyes deceptive pricing. Shame on this business for treating the community like this.
Initial review: This place has long been foundational to Duvall's downtown restaurants, but they are severely testing the loyalty of our town. It was only a few years ago that you could get a pizza for $15.99. It would be more if you added toppings. This week I ordered a pizza and it was $26.99, no extra toppings added. That's a 69% increase in only a few years. Additionally, unlike other pizzerias there is only one size at Red Pepper and it's not a family-sized pizza. So for a family of 5 people you need to order two pizzas for $54. Red Pepper is no longer a bargain and certainly seems comparably overpriced for what you get. Growing more and more disappointed with this place with each passing year. Remember in the early 2000s when Comcast raised their prices exponentially over only a few years and we all despised them for it for the next 20 years?.....same feeling. The only pizza place in town a this place feels like they can raise prices to this extent and people will just keep buying it. Well, there's a breaking point and I think...
Read moreI love red pepper. I've been ordering here for years and they've always had a rotation of younger but delightful employees, who you CAN TELL are doing their best. I've looked through many of the bad reviews red pepper has, and you can tell most of them are just tiny mistakes that get blown out of proportion by other customers. I've very seldom had any issues with pick ups, deliveries, and even dining in occasionally, and when I have, their always very quick and kind to take care of them. Not only are they a foundation of the community in Duvall, carnation, and now sultan, they are delightful and always ready for whatever you throw at them really. I've done 20 pizza pickups with very little lead time for parties and they have no problem having them all ready when I need them! I'm glad Duvall and carnation has had red pepper in their back pocket for years now, I'd have it no other way. In a world full of door dash and Uber eats, I'm glad their delivery people are in house and trained as such. Many of them are very nice and always have a smile on their face when I open the front door. Personally, their hard to beat. Their front counter workers, especially the two with the died hair (red and blue respectfully) and the nice ginger guy provide such consistent ordering services it makes me WANT to walk in and get some slices!

Read moreRed Pepper Pizza Review: More Than Just Cheese & Community Spirit If youâre looking for a pizza joint that slings saucy circles of joy at prices that donât make your wallet weep, Red Pepper Pizza is your spot. But waitâthereâs more! These folks donât just make pizza; they weaponize it for good. When a local farm got turned into a mud bath and spa by some overambitious beavers ( circa 2011) , who showed up with free pies to fuel the shovel brigade? Red Pepper. Schools hosting fundraisers? Red Pepperâs there, probably tossing dough in the air like theyâre trying to summon the spirit of Marco Polo. Churches having events? Theyâve got a hotline to these pizza saints. The menuâs cheap, the crust doesnât judge your life choices, and you can eat guilt-free knowing your $(insert your adjusted tax and inflation price here) special is funding their next act of carb-loaded charity. Great lunch specials, too. They just remodeled the inside with a cozy feel and have free refills on drinks ( a courtesy disappearing faster than a pack of smokes at an AA meeting) What's not to like? I even forgive them for forgetting the garlic ranch they charged me for. 9/10âwould let them feed my soul (and my stomach) again. Pro Tip: Ask if the âBeaver Dam Specialâ is back on the menu. (Itâs not. But...
