Kate Spade Outlet — Local services in Eagan

This is one of my go-to brands, but I had a very uncomfortable experience when visiting this location.

Right upon entering, we were immediately approached in a very pointed/startling way by a young woman with a southern twang.

She showed us a couple of items, and rather than letting us go at our pace, she abruptly pulled on one end of the purse I was holding towards another direction. When I let go, she said she was expecting me to "follow her while holding it"(her words).

She also said I inspired her to get "taco bell" for dinner tonight. I didn't converse with her about anything, so was she inspired by my brown (albeit non mexican) complexion? Is this supposed to be cute?

After my sister shot her a "???" Look, she decided to "fix" her statement by scrambling for another explanation, saying my supposed passion for the color of the purse I chose reminded her of her own passion for the food. K.

The rest of the time I could barely even look at the jewelry without being breathed on with vigilance. Do you all realize this is an outlet store?

Kate Spade customer service is lacking. I received 3 different damaged purses (as gift at Christmas) in December. Due to the same Aubrey purse being damaged physically, all received through the mail, I was finally gifted a venmo amount to go to a store to find a purse for my gift since we could not receive a non-damaged item in the mail. I purchased the small Madison Flapbody during the promotional sale for $79. I could not get my cards in and out of the card slots easily so I exchanged it 5 days later for one size up. The promotional price was $89 at the time of my purchase but had gone up to $99 at time of my exchange. They would not honor the promotional price even though I was told I had 30 days if I changed my mind and it was too small. Zack was not accommodating and he was borderline rude to me while another lady gave me the death stare at the same time. Went here today to find a clutch for a wedding. Several customers went in before us and after us, but we were the only customers that were not greeted or approached for assistance. When I went to purchase, the cashier said the earrings I found were 40% off. When I indicated that they were under a sign saying 60% off, showing her where they were alongside other identical earrings, she said no. I told her multiple times that I was not going to purchase them if they wouldn’t honor the discount advertised. Despite telling her that multiple times, she proceeded to ring them up, again at 40%.
