ya this place is great---if you're WHITE!! the lady at this "fine" establishment is very racist (funny because shes a minority herself). i was there 2 times and both times it was a very rude harsh treatment. the second time i was there i was with 2 other couples in the store who were white and the treatment i received versus theirs was as different as night and day! i came in to get a watch battery replaced and she barely acknowledged me as well as rush with me, the others were just browsing not even buying anything but with them she greeted them well, had normal social greetings. when i went back to pick up my watch and asked if there was a warranty which she had mentioned when the white couples were there, this time she said they don't really give a warranty of any sort and her son or whoever her assistant was smugly smirked the whole time. i told her she told me there was a warranty of at least 6months when i dropped off the watch otherwise i would've gone elsewhere, she argued with me,finally understanding my point she just walked away! while mumbling something in her language.overall i would say save your money and take your business elsewhere, as i plan to do in the future!! not worth it! and their jewellery...
Read moreVery unpleasant experience stopping in on my second visit, for watch repair. First time months ago was of no incidence. This time I was charged full battery purchase & insertion for a small inexpensive link watch that I requested 2 links removed from. I bought a battery for another watch at same time, but wasn't told I'd be charged same price for links. I didn't even need to pay for that if went back to store where purchased. I went ahead & paid, but tried to ask why same price when there is no product purchased or repair, genuinely thinking it was a mistake, very politely. Person (who I think is owner) just looked at me, walked away, proceeded to apologize to another customer (for my presence I suppose) & acted as if they were doing me a favor taking my business. The 2nd customer was obviously uncomfortable being part of this rude treatment so didnt even talk to the lady. I left saying, 'I'm sorry too, that you didn't tell me your price in advance.' Most arrogant rude treatment I'd ever had, made me feel it was racially oriented, though I never expected to even think that. Much regret giving my business to proprietors with so little respect for their...
Read moreI went here a few days ago to get a new watch band for my wife's watch that she had for years, and was a sentimental piece. It features a picture of Elvis Presley on it with a signature and even plays an old Elvis tune on it. The old band on my wife's watch was falling apart from years of usage. With that said.
First I called to see if they had watch bands available, and if they were leather. Both answers in the affirmative. I went later that day to the store and met a nice young lady whom I assume was the owner. She showed me 4 watch bands, and I asked her to choose one that a woman (a South Korean woman) would like, (a man could live a thousand years and never understand a woman. Just an FYI here. Lol.).
Anywho, after choosing the band the young lady took the watch and new band to the back. Had the job done in a few minutes which was great. The young lady in question only charged me $40 for the whole job granted the band costed $41.75, and I figured labor would be more. And adding I am a disabled veteran may have helped here too.
Would recommend to anyone needing an honest jeweler, and at a...
