Target — Local services in Eagan

Terrible and insulting experience at this location on September 14th,2025. Racially profiled by a worker named Chris,who singled me out,insinuating that I hadn't paid pay for all of my items I had in my cart at self checkout. He asked for my receipt and I asked why? He stated,he just wanted to make sure everything went all right. I said,everything went fine. I asked are you accusing me of stealing? He paused,then said,I have to make sure you paid for all the items.At this time he asked all this the receipt had not been printed yet. As soon as it started printing out of the slot,he reached around my body and grabbed the receipt swiftly as is barely finished printing so I would not be able to grab it first. I questioned him on why he was not asking other's who were in line before me and after me to check their receipts and he said,I check everybody's,which he was lying about. I walked over to manager at guest services to make a complaint and had to wait in line for about 8 minutes. I looked over at self check out and Chris did not stop any other customers to check their receipts. Manager said she was sorry after I told her what happened and said she would talk to him about it and seemed uninterested about my complaint. I went back over to get the worker's name which was Chris,we exchanged some words and a chubby Target worker,brown hair,thick beard was standing by the carts by the exit door. He said to me,don't talk like that in our store,get the hell out of here! I am Minnesota born and raised,no criminal record and a resident of Eagan for over 30 years,shopping at this location. This has been the second time this has happened to me in 1 year. The worst insulting and degrading incidents of my life at any business I have frequented.. Will never step foot in this store ever again! This company is definitely red dot,red circle racist with a bullseye on minorities or the way...

I am a frequent Target shopper, I have never had a problem with Target. The only time I ever have an issue is when I go to the Eagan Target. Tonight I went in to return a few items. I first stood at the return counter for 5-10 minutes watching employees talking and joking around and playing on the card for little kids until someone noticed I was standing there. When someone did come to help me the woman was completely flustered and obviously annoyed she had to help me. She made comments like "great I have to run it again" and was huffing and puffing the entire time. After she finally got it all retuned she asked me to swipe my car to get my money back on my card. when I did she told me is wasn't the same card. I assured her it was because I just bought the items a few hours ago. She read off my card number the oneI used and asked if it was correct and I said yes, but she couldn't find a way to put it on my card because she was too flustered to care or try. Instead of asking for assistance or for a manager she told me she was giving me a gift card. I told her that was very inconvenient and would like it on my card, but she said there was nothing she can do. That was my last straw with this Target and I will NEVER shop there again. I will also assure my friends and family it will be a huge mistake to shop at the Target in Eagan. I will be sure to make a trip to Apple Valley or Burnsville where everyone is extremely helpful and has never made my shopping...

Came to buy an item I needed, looked like the price dropped or was on sale or something. I got excited, I picked up 3, my mistake coming to this target though. The screen didn’t let me request help, when I noticed the price wasn’t what was showed on the floor. It looked like an employee screen but what do I know. They update it a lot it feels like. I showed her the price I saw it for since I’ve learned at target it’s always good to have proof, so they can honor the price if it’s wrong. I’ve had that happen to be before. And she was just so weird about it…like they way she was talking to me bad me feel bad, like I was lying or something. But I think she knew she was in the wrong since she kept saying words like “was this even at our target?” “Oh maybe it was labeled wrong”…okay…she called some over the walkie; and I felt relived I could get this fixed. Nope… and she said we could walk over there but at this point I wanted to cry, I felt so sad and annoyed at the way I was being talked to. I don’t do well in those situations, I didn’t want to cause a scene, I didn’t care anymore I just wanted to be away from her and in my car. Told her to take the other 2 Off. I think I’m going to stick to Burnsville and lakeville. Always amazing service and talked to with respect. Honestly disappointed in Eagan. I’ve never had a problem with them; but then again I haven’t interacted with the employees here much. So..i guess it just depends on the day..and...
