uBreakiFix - Phone and Computer Repair — Local services in Eagan

I scheduled a repair and the tech called and canceled the appointment saying my phone was not repairable. I had to call asurion and argue with customer support because the tech marked my phone as needing replaced. Finally they rescheduled. The new tech assigned was a 100 out of 10! She was prompt, polite and very professional throughout. She stated that nothing about my phone was not repairable and took care of every issue with ease. She had everything needed and used great communication throughout the visit. I was very impressed. Joanna is in my opinion someone to model other employees after and definitely deserves recognition. Even how she said the tech was wrong for not even looking at the phone or communicating better to verify the concern was without insulting the other tech and she did not just make excuses. She apologized for that expierence and said let's get you taken care of.

I needed a phone battery replaced. I decided to give uBreakiFix a try because they were listed as an authorized for repair of Samsung phones. The first location that I called did not have the battery for my phone in stock, so I called the Eagan store and they did. It was easy to make an online appointment for the next day. They promised a wait time of no more than 3 hours but completed the job in less than 1 hour. I was happy that they took care of removing and replacing my protective case since doing so is a real bear for me to do. Cory here is the most helpful person I've met in a long time! I called them looking for a specific replacement screen, which turned out to be backordered for a lot of repair businesses, he offered to check on the status daily for me and when I let him know I was looking at buying an open box version of my current phone he also shared some ways I would be able to access my current phone (mouse adapter for a cell phone - who knew!). So while I went the replacement phone route rather than wait for a screen, if I need a screen, or a friend does, I will definitely go here.
