I have a registered service animal who, by law, can accompany me into any place of business. I walked to this store to buy supplies for a party I was entertaining that evening as I don't drive and this was only place within walking distance that carried alcoholic beverages. I was met outside by whom I assume to be the owner and was rudely told that I could not enter with my dog. I explained to him that she is a registered service dog and by law I had the right to enter and offered to show him the license. He refused and told me to go elsewhere. I even offered to give him my order and credit card indicating that I would wait outside. An employee was standing right beside him and told him she'd be happy to do that yet again, he refused. I was in disbelief especially after my offer to give him my credit card and my dog and I would not go in. I could have easily reported his business but I decided it wasn't worth the effort because he is ignorant about the laws for disabled individuals with service animals. I asked about a liquor that they were not familiar with. I told the young lady that I didn't want them to go through any trouble and I would just take something else. 3 or 4 workers were looking for Grand Marnier.... again I told them not to go through the trouble when one of the workers came from the storage area with an entire case!
