The employees were wearing gloves this time.Yesss. It was better this time. The food was cooked before my eyes. It had the least amount of oil and salt I have ever experienced from an Oriental resturant. I have The cook again appeared appeared to be Hispanic and when they hire a Hispanic cook.There are always complaints of too much rice.I stopped eating here once before for this same reason.When people ask for less rice . I wonder is this a cooking error or management ordered optio.Customers are usually told that extra for more vegetable or meat will cost $2.00 more.The food already is not cheap.I cringed when the person in front of me checked his food and asked for less rice and stated he could not eat all that rice.I did not check mine because I was tired and it was very cold outside. My food was not the usual Chicken Teriyaki special so it took longer. I had to wait on 4 delivery orders and people who phoned in their orders. The cashier appeared nervous when I got my order finally. I guess he is accustomed to being cursed out for the slow service but my food was cooked separately, fresh and very hot.I wasn't about to complain. I just said than you and left.The container smelled good and seemed heavier than usual.I was hoping for a great meal after having to wait and I just wanted to walk home to eat it before it turned cold. WELL... IT TASTED GREAT but the broccoli was over cooked and their was a huge amount of rice to beef and broccoli ratio.The beef was thin and vegetables hid the bottom which was filled totally filled with rice even though the container was divided.It made me regret not buying my own ingredients and using my work to cook at home.This restuarant always gives big portions but they recently seem to be substituting quantity for quality. Fellow customer we need to boycott this resturant until they serve us what we order instead of the sneaky rice menu again. They gave loads of quality meat and vegetables when they first opened. Now we get chipped beef and cheaper quality vegetables.They need to charge 50% less and change the description of the food or just go on and close down. There is an oriental resturant on the way here that the quality is first rate but the portions are smaller.I guess I will go back to them.I hope they are still...
Read moreI've been a loyal customer to teriyaki express. The food is usually very good along with the service..however I went tonight to get my usual n it was AWFUL!! The rice was extremely smushy, it was un bareable for me the texture was gross.. SOOOO i take it back and ask for a remake n even showed the cashier n cook how smushy it was n the cooks response was " no one else complained, and I've been using this rice since this morning " 1st thing is the customer is always right 2nd it's 9:00pm so ur telling me the rice I've complained about has been sitting in a warmer for 10+ hours..😡 n 3rd CUSTOMER IS ALWAUS RIGHT!! SMH needless to say he wouldn't remake my food. Nor refund me...so they have just lost...
Read moreOrdered the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and sushi. The chicken and the fried rice were drenched in sauce, soggy, mushy and just plain bad. The sushi was ALL rice, no or very little shrimp on the shrimp Tempora and Dragon sushi. The shrimp Tempora (3) were also soggy and cold!! The only thing edible were the egg roles!! Oh yea even the soda's were flat!! WHEN asked for a refund I was told that's how they prepare their food, so if you want, cold, soggy and mushy food this is the restaurant for you. No refund was given. We NEVER complain about food, we usually suck it up and eat it, not this time!! VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN FROM...
