I have a shout out of the most important respect for the female Greek descent (I ask other people who have non local dialect and non Northern Europe appearance if they are from the area or not since I am not from here and also get asked in a rude "are you some Italian from New Jersey" variant all the time because of the fact that a minor dialect of yes Philadelphia /South Jersey is natural in my speech still and I have W SW European ancestors as well as inheritance of their traits and not the ones that are in the UK ancestors I have who aren't nonetheless still very dark as USA thinks all of the Isles are only people who are pink. That is mainly East anglia and Southern Ireland (Republic of).) so I had a mild heart emergency (covid long hauler) and despite the rude Dutchies behind me(sorry but it is obvious who is engraind in the Dutch insular weird club that is in East GR high money types) who could not have been able to ignore my fall from black out that I caught by grabbing some plastic thing holding some items in it and still just hurriedly placing my food up yet unable to speak (enter the Greek female whose exhibition is not annoyance but compassionate fear for the fact that a 33 year old not drugged up or boozed up is collapsing and wheezing audibly... And awesome fellow on the spectrum as I find out (we neuro divergents can spot it in each other with ease like a secret club and its cool)) and I was hazy in memory but all whether it was rest and permission to pay over at the customer service when I was of clear state, and kind words from the male, whom the Greek descent female intuitive to the obvious similar style of interaction we had before the fall and the black out, encouraging to be attentive to my health just in case, I made it fine. Thanks for the help...
Read moreAlways friendly. Such an experience the warm smell of fall as you walk through the door. Fresh produce is abundant. Meat and Dell counters full of the finest fresh meats and deli meats and salads. Always a great place to shop.Update 10/6. went in today and viewed some nice thick T-Bones in the meat case but no one behind the counter. No bell to ring for service. I'm not one to seek out other's doing their job they are paid to do to make them look for who should be doing their job. I figured if it was meant to be there would have been someone within eyes view of the counter or a 🛎 or a 📱# to call for service. And I saved $50 by not buying the steaks. I did find Zesto's here! All in all a great experience. Love...
Read moreToday, an employee named Diane saved me a tidy sum of money. I had to pick up two Covid tests which would’ve cost $22. at the store’s pharmacy. When I brought the tests to the courtesy desk to pay for them, Diane said, “You know you might be able to get these for free at the East Grand Rapids library.” I told her that was a great idea and that I would scoot over to the library and see if that was the case. In fact, it was the case. You can get one Covid test per week (two tests per box) for free through the Kent District Library system. I later called to thank Diane and with this note, I am thanking her online. Diane is a great...
