Tacos El Cunado Wealthy — Restaurant in East Grand Rapids

I was pretty disappointed. I ordered 3 dinner entrees for take out online. I gave clear "special instructions" for type of salsa requested with each order. When I arrived the food was packed up, with the bag tied tightly in a knot. The team member asked me if they could give refried beans instead of charro beans because they were out. I agreed and waited while they packed that up and put in a separate bag. I asked how many salsas were provided as the order included 5 taquitos, 3 enchiladas and 3 quesadillas. He didn't answer so I looked in the bag and there were only 2 hot salsas and 1 mild. I asked for 6 more and he begrudgingly gave me 3 more salsas. I've never been to a Mexican place that was so stingy with the salsa. When I got to my destination we noticed that the bottom box in the bag had 4 tacos not 5 taquitos as ordered, coincidentally this was the same dinner that included the charro beans. I don't know, maybe they were out of taquitos too? We ate the food but I won't be...

It pains me to give 3 stars, but after eating here multiple times in the past few weeks, I can say I’ve had consistently poor service. Things like not being acknowledged for several minutes as I stand awkwardly at the counter. Orders being messed up. A lack of friendliness. Just a general lack of hospitality overall. It’s really disappointing, because the food slaps when they get my order right. I hope they can retrain their staff...

Stopped in for some authentic tacos. Service was excellent, and menu items were priced appropriately. Chips and salsa and guacamole were very good. The only thing i would say is salsa was a bit too watered down and needed a little salt. Steak Tacos Rice and beans were perfect on the sjde their was a pepper and some large onions that caught me off guard on how spicy they were, but still great....
