East Grand Rapids Gas Light Village is perfect the way it is. Unfortunately, there is talk of change and allowing for expansion. This would definitely be a huge mistake for this little community. With expansion will always come more crime and right now, the crime rate is very low here. I absolutely love this little place. I stumbled upon it by mistake one day last summer and its like a little town of its own. Has restaurants,a bank, a grocery store, Ups store, a Star bucks and a few more things. Great location next to a lake and just a clean beautiful setting to take your family out for the day.
