The school is a 'for profit' college.
Most of the classes are underfunded and lack a decent amount of materials. You meet the same professors for a multitude of the courses. All of the 'learning' done is by either google searching or reading old an outdated materials such as books and software. There is a few staff in the building that actually know what they are doing and even fewer that have connections that they can use to make the college students experiences fun. If you aren't naturally gifted in the degree you applied for you'll end up slacking behind in your classes for that degree. You will also find that there is little focus on teaching but alot of focus on them expecting you to just go and teach yourself.
Most of the 'expenses' for this college is either pocketed or spent on adding in frivolous things like more fish for the fishing pool or more carpet/ glass flooring. The courses are rarely focused outside of the nursing program which seems to be their bread and butter. You can also find many students regretting attending that college, at least out of the 20 I asked about their experiences there.
If you are looking for a tech-college that'll teach you, this isn't for you. I suggest going to Full-Sail...
Read moreworst school ever a complete scam just like all the other online and for profit schools you see on T.V. you will not find a good job. you will be in a mountain of debt. Many employers will flat out tell you they will not hire NEIT grads because the school is basically where community college rejects go. Auto body program a joke , the instructor was insulting and not helpful and pretty much convinced me to drop out by being dumb enough to admit most Auto body workers do not make much money and that i would be making minimum wage for a long time being a grunt before i could even move up slightly. that makes total sense lets waste 40k to make what a fast food employee makes. don't let their smooth talking recruiters(Liars/scam artists) that they send to your house convince you other wise that is their job to win you over by being nice and making you trust them. Bottom line never trust school recruiters any where you go actually do research before choosing and don't be dumb pick an actual school not this institution of thiefts that could care less about you convince you to attend there is always something more worth it out there you'll regret it if you enroll here and have a mountain of debt with a...
Read moreIf you’re going into the SWE or CS track here, don’t. They’re incredibly behind and will have courses on legacy systems that most software companies are trying to get rid of. A coding boot camp would serve you better. If you want to actually do well out with this degree program, you’re gonna have to study up on actual modern technologies and use them for your capstones. I give this school next to 0 credit for where I am career wise, I’ve had to do a lot of my own research to get a “cutting edge” job. They’ll gear you up for either a military contractor or some old tech company that’s still struggling to catch up to the norm
Edit: ignore their reply. They’re just trying to cover up. I can’t tell you the amount of times I got a “just cause” when I’d ask why we aren’t learning some other more modern framework. Plus a completely non technical person was in charge of grading my senior capstone, dude had no idea how to read the code we...
