Autumn Ridge — Local services in East Haven

I lived there for 3 years, would have left 1 year ago had I not signed a 2 year lease. Breaking the lease would have been too costly. My experience has not been a good one maybe for some it has but not for me. I had the displeasure to have lived next to a very rude nasty man. He has no respect for the quiet hours, the time is 11pm and I would love so much to keep my slider open to get in some fresh air but all I hear is the loud party he has going on. I know for sure he is aware of the rules. Too many dogs are let loose in the back common area, mostly on weekends, when management is not here. Up to 2 large dogs allowed therefore too much barking and loud noise especially if you live below them. There is a $400 pet fee plus an extra $25 a month for each pet. Some police activity has happened. My rent went up $111, way too much for a dark studio (no windows only slider doors) with minor upgrades. The hallways are dingy and smell awful. I will say the grounds are kept nice and the superintendent Hugo is awesome. As far as management, there has been 4 or 5 property managers in the last 3 years. My husband and I recently moved into Autumn Ridge Apartments, and I can't say enough good things about my experience, especially thanks to Chayra Rodriguez, the property manager. From the very first interaction, Chayra was incredibly accommodating and made the entire tenant process not only seamless but genuinely enjoyable. Her professionalism shines through in everything she does, and her knowledge about the property and the community made me feel confident in my decision to move in.

Chayra went above and beyond to ensure that my move-in process was smooth and stress-free. She was always available to answer any questions and made sure we had all the information we needed. What stood out the most was her charismatic and personable approach—she made what can often be a tedious process fun and engaging.

Horrible horrible.horrible!! Do not rent here. The staff is rude, the residents steal packages, they charge you for things that happened before you moved in EVEN when you have picture evidence from the walkthrough... and since they have the money for good lawyers, you just have to pay and deal with it.. Definately a place that takes advantage of people.. Fantastic sales tactics though, since they make you believe paying $900 a month for a closet is worth it just because there is a gym with 2 machines and a room with 6 machines for laundry-that you pay extra for. NOT WORTH IT!! Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this evil company... the maintainence guy was amazing, but they couldn't keep any office staff working for them fo4 more than a few months!! That should say it all right there about this...
