Absolutely nothing but top notch customer service here friends! My wife, nearly 3 year old and I were visiting Branford from Texas when our vehicle had an alternator failure which destroyed our battery. Thankfully I'm a trade mechanic/technician and knew exactly what to do and I buy 90% of my personal vehicle parts from O'Reillys. They are cross country in nearly every decent size town and I knew both the components were covered under warrantees. When we arrived I explained what had happened and Hector as well as the daytime store manager, Anthony and evening store manager Derrick, went above and beyond to help me get the parts I needed and get them installed without getting drinched by rain in 40° weather. They were not initially able to find my original purchase in my account which is extremely lengthy but went the extra mile to locate the parts and get warrantee exchanges with no out of pocket expense. Then after I got the brand new alternator and battery installed and used my own scan tool to check the charging system I determined the new alternator was defective. It was unfortunate but I know this happens sometimes and thankfully I am able to catch the defect immediately and eliminate other possibilities! At this point Anthony the daytime manager had already ended his shift and left and it had begun to rain while I was pulling the alternator a 2nd time! Derrick the evening shift manager,by his own initiative, came out of the store with a tarp and draped it over my hood and front of my vehicle while I finished the work and when I went to put the 2nd alternator on Anthony pulled back up to check on my family and he was going to drive to another location if there wasn't a 2nd alternator in stock for my vehicle in his store! The way all of you men conducted yourselves on that night deserves to be extremely highly commended! This kind of exquisite service is few and far between these days and every team member in this store truly went above and beyond for my family! THANK YOU...

We purchased a battery and added warranty back in March. The battery has since malfunctioned. When we went today, the “manager” told us that there was nothing in his system showing that we purchased a warranty. Luckily for us, we held onto the receipt. Even with this PROOF, he claimed that he could not honor it as there was no way to update his system.
He continued to argue and belittle us. We gave him no reason to treat us this way. We are paying customers. But our warranty has not been honored— we have not been refunded and our battery has not been replaced.
Be careful with these guys. Apparently their outdated system prevents them from using...
Read moreI went to 2 other chain retailers attempting to get assistance with my engine codes. This retailer/location was the only place willing to come out to the car and let me plug it in while they ran the device. (The cord on their device at this location is much longer than the retailers who no longer check for you! Social distance!)
The staff member that helped us was really understanding of our issue and knowledgable about the part that came up in the code. Worth a little drive to get parts and auto supplies here this time...
