My wife and I went there to purchase some items and had a Gift Certificate for $50. 1 of the items was a floor model and the last one in stock. I would’ve taken a new one but they did not have one. They offered me a 20% off discount. Well after finishing my other shopping they would not accept the Gift Certificate as they said it could not be used in conjunction with it. I did not ask them to discount their item. Well they lost my business over a $9 discount and we WILL never be back to shop there, not over the $9 but over how poorly their customer service skills are. I have always enjoyed shopping here and frequently received pleasant customer service. But because of my experience on Saturday being far from the norm I must give a 3 star rating. The individual who was at the check out register definitely lacks pleasant customer service. Was abrupt, seemed annoyed when someone asked if they could leave a piece of jewelry they selected while they continued to shop. I stumbled on this beautiful and unique store on my way to Stratsburg Railroad. I'm so glad I stopped! It's a beautiful store with unique gifts. I felt like stepping back in time as I entered the store. The huge selection of the most beautiful Christmas items kept me wondering from one corner to the other of the store. They also carry exquisite lighting and many other non Christmas items for the home. I especially loved the board games from way back when. I will be heading to Pennsylvania again next year and this is already on my must...
