HF is always my go to place for tools, brushes, blades, batteries, etc. Sign up for their adds. You will get coupons in the mail or online. Their "super" coupons are usually great deals (if you do not own what they are selling already). lol! If you can get the correct coupon, you can get 24 alkaline aaa or aa batteries that are every bit as good as the major brands. Just an example. Oh, and their hand tools are guaranteed for life! One breaks, it is replaced free. I stand by their tools because I have been using them for over 10 years! I recently purchased a corded hammer drill for a job. (my cordless one was at another location 250 miles away). So I did not spring for variable speed and reversing, just their basic hammer drill. It took on a job drilling holes in concrete that would have taken hours with a straight non hammer drill. With this basic drill the job took only 15 minutes! Worth the price even if I threw it out! But I will keep it of course....
Read moreHarbor freight tools sells decent tools at good prices. And they also have many sales to bring in more customers. But let's face the real facts. They even have the nerve to list what a much better built tool of the same kind sells for. Like Craftsman and many others. So Harbor freight is also the opposite of Robin hood. They buy cheap and sell high and higher. Yes that is how most businesses make their money, but as I repeatedly say they could lower prices a little more so that a person that is getting a new construction job and needs certain tools on day one can afford them. Harbor freight also should give back to the community that keeps them...
Read morehow can a company stay in business having people that treat their customers the way your ladies that work the cash register treats the customers. I wanted to buy a set of jack stands that had a sales sign on them and when I took them to the register I was told they were not on sale anymore. when I asked the lady why they were ringing up full price I was told if I didn't want to pay full price for them to just put them back. after putting them back I tried to buy some other items and when I tried to pay with a hundred dollar bill I was told she couldn't take the hundred because she didn't have change. she only needed $42.00 for change. It's no wonder this store is closing. I will never come back here, as there are too many other places that sell tools. I have never been treated this way before even...
