Selection is good and compared to w Whole Foods or Wegmans, it's at least 25% less in cost. Their meat selection could definitly use improvement and the night they switch their "specials" if you check out after 11pm, none the prices switch- they could at least give announcements regarding this over the com as a cart of $150 of mostly store specials became $310, and who wants to walk out without their groceries after over an hour? No one. Just got that reason- it should get 0 stars, but if you never plan on checking out late; it won't impact you. Selection, price, cleanliness, convenience all factored in, it's one of the best grocery stores. Wegmans is a crowded nightmare to me where nothing is located conveniently and I have been hit in my Achilles tendon from shopping carts twice there. I get it's not the store's fault if other customers are to blame, but TWICE? It's too crowded and items are placed into random locations for "convenience" but theres nothing convenient when searching for an item that has an empty spot where it should be located, askinv an associate, and being told its "on an end of an isle somewhere" especially while limping through the store after someone smashing a cart into...

I just keep on ringing up." then goes back behind the shield. The other customer was gathering her bags still.
I had 5-gallon water, and the like; so, again, she announces to me, in vernacular, "I ain't liftin that. she repeated that phrase a few more times; then makes a PA? requesting assistance at the customer service desk. No one ever came; so, I am not sure if she was requesting the customer service assistance to her station to lift the water bottle or not. Odd mannerisms: body language, tone if voice (passive aggressiveness, perhaps?) Giant's was well stocked, and to my delight, I found all that I went there to buy. On my way through town, another time, I can see myself stopping in again to buy...
Read moreI am from an area where there aren't Giant food stores although I shopped there when I lived here years ago. Extra friendly helpful staff. I asked to get a Giant discount card and it was given cheerfully. Extra sanitation methods were adhered to at checkout and everyone was super! Produce looked lovely! Wish we had the dice vegetable frittata mix where I live! They were even super nice when I discovered I left my wallet at the place I'm staying.. .this has never happened to me my entire life and mortified doesn't cover it!!! Instead of making it embarrassing, staff were very helpful and kept my groceries in the cooler bagged and ready for my return. It had been a scattered day and yet the team at Giant made it much better with their professionalism and cheerful attitude! So glad I get to shop there...
