Two stars solely for pricing. Assuming you can find one. I picked up seven items I would've purchased if I had any indication how much they cost.
Now, the merchandise. I walked in and started on the right-hand side of the store where shoes are located. The selection was extremely sparse in the size 6 area. I selected two pair to try on, but Ross has decided to use not only a security tag to bind the two shoes together, but also a secondary plastic, making it difficult to be certain whether the shoes fit properly and literally impossible to walk in them. I decided against both pair for those reasons.
The handbag selection was also quite sparse; however I was able to find three purses I adored and a wallet - all with prices tags. Hooray! I purchased 3 of the 4 items from that department.
Beyond handbags is a section of miscellaneous items like hair and body products, which was a catastrophe. It appeared there were likely some deals to be had, but there's no situation where I would ever have the patience for that mess.
Moving then to home goods, I discovered so many treasures!...without price tags. This is where I did NOT purchase 6 items.
The purpose of my visit was to find a sundress for an event this weekend so I started through racks and racks of disorganized - albeit remarkably well-priced - clothing. By this time I'd been in the store for over an hour and was beginning to feel a bit of sensory overload so I flipped through my sizes, and collected 7 items to try on. There would've been 8, but again, no price tag.
Speaking of 8, that's how many items you can take into the dressing room. Hooray! Surprisingly only one of the 7 made it to my basket as I headed to the check out.
There were 2 cashiers working and about 10 people in line ahead of me. In the end, I purchased 2 Aldo purses, 1 Nine West wallet, and a sundress for $76.50.
My suggestion to the management is to get organized! To shoppers I say, clear your schedule. You're going to be there awhile, and may walk out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreItems were mixed all over the place, not organized, and multiple things were on 1 hook while 30 other hooks next to it were empty. The aisles had things on the floor so you couldn't get a cart in the aisle. I stood in line while 3 employees ignored me and 1 was ringing people up. So I had to wait for the 1 employee. Why is only 1 employee ringing people up while 2 others talk and one other sorts hangers? Why don't the managers stress customer service? It took less than 30 seconds to check out once I got to the guy. There were some nice sections to the store and some things on clearance already. But overall it was lackluster and then being ignored at checkout was the salt in the wound. Maybe things will get better. This store just opened so things may be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the best store in the Longwood shopping center. But besides the long lines, lack of cashiers and the rude customers that let their kids run around and destroy the store; the workers truly do their best. A lot of you complain about the organization, clothes on floor, things misplaced but yāall be the main ones destroying the store and leaving the fitting rooms funky! I canāt tell you how many times Iāve seen people drop clothes on the floor and not pick them up. Stop blaming the employees! Itās the customers. Anyways love this store and the employees and I will continue to shop here. For you customers: Show a little respect for the employees and merchandise because from what Iāve seen you...
