If I could give Pureland Supply 10 stars, I would. Their customer service is beyond exceptional. I ordered the wrong lamp, which by the way, was entirely my fault. When I wanted to return the lamp, I got near instantaneous email responses from the company. Laura sent me an RMA and a return label without any fuss whatsoever. When I was tardy to physically return the lamp, I called them. They picked up the phone within one ring and I didn't have to deal with complicated prerecorded messages. I spoke with Moira on the phone and she was delightful to work with. She helped me find the right bulb to buy and was very consultative and helpful throughout the call. I would not consider buying a lamp from anyone else in the market, even if it was cheaper. Pureland Supply has set the gold standard for great customer service. Read moreI saw these amazing reviews online only to be extremely disappointed. I purchased a new bulb and housing for my Epson 5030UB. The bulb was placed in the projector and turned on by an Epson tech and the bulb was NO good. The picture was half of what it should of been.
The Epson Tech immediately told me he sees this all the time with “Pureland Supply”. I then put in my old bulb and the picture was fine. Moreover, the experience wasn’t too bad until Pureland made me pay for shipping back to them. Yes, that’s right. They sent me a bad bulb and I had to pay the shipping back. They were kind enough to not include a restocking fee. Lucky me. For what, I have no idea, the bulb was bad. I assume they wouldn’t re sell it, but who knows.
The bottom line, this experience was not a Plesent one. It cost me time and money to do business with Pureland. I wasn’t reimbursed for either. Just my original purchase price. Read moreI recently purchased my first replacement bulb for a Mitsubishi HC-5 projector. I was pleased that the bulb arrived a day earlier than expected. After removing the old bulb, I carefully examined the housings of the old and the new replacement bulb. They were almost identical and the the build quality of the replacement bulb was excellent. The only difference I have noticed is that the new bulb warm up time is a little slower than the original. In the long run that might be a good thing. Once the new bulb is fully warmed up, the luminance of the picture is brilliant. I'm happy that there is a 6 month warranty as well. Installation was easy. The instructions sent with the new bulb were almost identical to the manufacturers so I believe most anyone can make the change. It is very important to keep the original paperwork supplied by the manufacturer as I found it difficult to find the right replacement bulb online.
